ziggs

I agree with this. 90% of my games this week have had ziggs in mid and he deals some very hefty damage.

Diana
Veigar

Been playing those two as my mids for a while. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Kennen and Anivia
Kennen hasn't let me down yet.
Anivia is a passive farmer.

Diana is built in a way that basically lets her dominate most mid-lane opponents. Her Q is a fantastic farming spell/set-up for kill with her ult, her shield is massive and her ability to pull in and slow is absurdly good.

Kassadin is another great mid, especially if playing against less mobile APmids like, say, Veigar, Malzahar, etc. His ability to lead around the battlefield, cast an AoE slow and silence is all too good and his burst combo can outright wreck most enemy mids unless they specifically build against him, nerfing their own damage in the meanwhile.
