Veigar is standing quite a ways back from the fight if they are getting close, and his team really is worthless if Pantheon gets in jump range.

Anyway, he can also stun to buy a less than intelligent team time to wake up and focus the guy.

(Not to mention unload his burst damage on them- so it shouldn't take much focus to finish em off.)

If enemies are constantly getting into Veigar's face at the start of every fight, either he fails or his team does.

The occasional Pantheon ult isn't a major concern for survivability, and he is usually predictable enough that the stun can be placed for him to land on it when he jumps Veigar.

If Veigar is alone and can't get away, it probably wouldn't matter whether or not he had the Wooglets survivability.

Wouldn't matter if you had the extra AP from Dcap either. You'd still be dead.

There might be a small chance the extra burst would be enough to insta-gib, but yeah, Wooglets or not really doesn't matter there at least 90% of the time.

Whether or not Flash is up would probably be the only factor.

There's a few problems with this. The biggest one is cost (and its something that bugs me just a little about wooglets). 3700g on a caster? good luck getting that while still remaining useful, which leads to point two: 0 utility components. You get 0 pen, 0 cdr, 0 health from building this. At least with wooglets you're getting armor so that when you get jumped (its dom, it'll happen), you wont just die to a bruiser.

Think utility and cost efficiency for components and you'll see that there are a lot of options for mages at the moment, and screw the true damage passive, with pen stacking right now you'll be going through enough resists to be relevant, and probably doing true damage to most squishies anyways.
