I'm a designer in university right now wanting to specialize in UI/UX design. I was curious if it was possible to see some of the process the team went through to decide on the new UI. I'd love to see how something like this, within a game, is approached. How many times did you guys have to redo concepts? How long did it take? I'd love to know.

I'd like to write something up after we release. But we actually settled on the overall direction very early thanks to a bunch of prototyping and user testing that we did. Formal and informal user testing was critical to the development process. We're now iterating as fast as we can based on wider feedback from PBE.
