Having this issue right now. Kinda wanted to play League today. Knowing Riot, we wont have a fix for another day or so.

Bubble, is your game just minimizing or are you also getting a BugSplat error report message?

It was a BugSplat error report message. After I uninstalled my firewalls, and disabled the windows firewall, and reinstalled the game, it is now minimizing without launching the game.

I would also like to point out really quick that I have tried launching with and without Skype running (it's never seemed to cause issues before, however I followed the BugSplat trouble shoot suggestions and this did not make a difference).

Reinstall your firewall. I'm assuming you used Comodo firewall, right?

Readjust the trust settings for it if it is Comodo.

It's not Comodo, I was running AVG. I have since reinstalled it (after identifying that it was, in fact, NOT the issue).

It could be the firewall on the router, not your computer. Have you checked those settings?
