I use Win 8 as well. It is obviously the OS that is the problem (compatibility).
Please fix it Riot.

it seem more likely to be crash when i click on the shop, my profile or in champ select. plz fix this i had to wait 30mins to play because I got kick out of a ranked champion select... and Im using windows 8

Yes, I have been kicked from ranked many times.

Anyone with Windows 7 or lower that is having this issue, I recommend trying to install the latest version of Adobe Air. Go to their website.

As for Windows 8, I believe it is incompatibility. We need this fixed.

Edit: Can some people try this for me, instead of just putting lol.launcher in compatibility mode, try to put:

C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0. 0.229\deploy\LoLClient

into compatibility mode. This is for W8 users, see if it works.

A) How many of you have LoL Recorder/Replay installed
B) How many of you have the newest version of LoL Recorder/Replay installed?

Running LoLClient in compatibility mode does not solve the issue.
