I'm looking to play games such as LoL on 60 fps. Overall, I just want to upgrade the current laptop I use currently because I want to run games at decent FPS. I don't care about quality of effects, only fps.
Here are the 2 I have been looking at:
a) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834230987

b) http://www.microcenter.com/product/4...mputer_-_Black

------------------------
This one is a possibility if I can somehow manage it in my budget (I just want to know how this one compares to either a, or b)

Thanks in advance!

Buy a refurbished Asus gaming laptop from Ebay. I'll try finding one for you. The ones that you linked would be terrible for gaming.

Here's an awesome refurbished one for $500 Buy It Now on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-G71GX-R...item232ce2a803

Why downvote this? Are you retarded? Have fun finding a another laptop with a GTX 260 for $500. Just trying to be helpful. Buy some piece of **** instead, I don't care...

If you want to stretch your budget and go for the third option you will be able to see as much as a 200% increase in framerate with the GT635M over the GT610M so for the small increase in price I would say definitely go for option C.

Happy Gaming.

Not sure if you are just trying to bump something you are selling yourself but that GTX 260 is vastly inferior to a GT635M as well as only a 500GB hard drive and a much older and slower processor than the new Ivy Bridge I5-3230M.

Option (a) from Newegg is going to give you the best gaming performance of (a) or (b) because of the Nvidia card. But as posted above, your best bet would be to save up a little more for the third option because it only costs an extra $50 for a better graphics card (which should be better, longer).

Option A is bad, not suitable for gaming. Option B and C are not bad. C for better performance.

Derp harder http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-...eForce-GT-635M

For those who don't click this link, this person is talking out of their ass and the GTX260M is VASTLY better than the GT 635M but it's easy to say "bigger number must mean better he he"
