Playing a perfect Anivia isn't as hard as a perfect Ahri

Leblanc has a butt-ton of micro with 1-2 areas to blink back to, managing the ult so you don't copy the wrong spell, and having to do her burst in the spam of a second for it to stick, and the chain has a wonky hitbox and requires you to stay in range for the full duration for it to hit.

Yet you don't see anyone saying LB is hard to play/use.

Yes.

That's because nobody plays her at all.

Please don't tell me Anivia is going to get nerfed now.

Because I have this habit of playing champs and loving them, only to find out weeks, months, or (as in this case) over a year later that people think they're OP.

First it was Mordekaiser, then Kennen, then Blitzcrank, and now Anivia? Jeeze.

I'm not sure OP has ever played with a well played of either champion. Anivia is definitly a higherskill cap than Ahri. Mashing all your buttons doesn't make play difficult, or old ap eve would have been the highest skillcap champ in the game. Your success was directly related to how fast you could roll your face accross the keyboard. Annie is in a similar spot.

Everyone knows Anivia needs to be nerfed, but she never will be as she's Morello's champion :/

OP got stomped by an Anivia as Ahri, and is complaining about it on the forums. Nothing important.

Using her R into charm is no harder than using E+Q on Ezreal. It's really not. The whole faceroll your keyboard after landing charm and tapping ignite if necessary isn't unique to Ahri (how is pressing d or f to ignite uniquely difficult on Ahri) and should be discounted. Her combo doesn't require much micro. Neither of their combos require much micro. Ahri has 4 skills that damage champions, making her zone much stronger and reliable even if she misses one spell. Anivia is pretty much boned if she wiffs a Q. Ahri also has higher burst potential and less mana problems.

The major difference between Anivia and Ahri is her wall. If you don't understand the nuances of the wall (the displacement to stop channels, how it changes pathing for abuse with Q, initiating and disengaging from fights, and protecting a carry), then yes Ahri does seem to be about as hard as Anivia. The difference is in Crystallize, and what a difference it is.

Unless tournaments players are screaming for a nerf, I see 0 reason to mess with Anivia. Like honestly, her highest skill potential isn't even going to touch 95% of the playerbase. She's meh to good depending on who's playing her. She's only OP in skilled hands.
