You should take a history of the game lesson real quick.

Quicksilver Sash was added into the game in the same patch as Suppression was added to Warwick and Malzahar. Previously, their ults could be cleansed (as they were just stuns), but it left them self-stunning and not doing damage.

Suppression was added so CLEANSE would no longer affect their (and Cleanse was eventually changed to just cleanse CC effects only, not debuffs+CC). At the time, WW and Malz ults were the only two Suppression effects in the game.

QSS was added to give players an option to build in counter to Suppressions and negative debuffs like DoTs/Morde ult.



If QSS were to be made unable to cleanse suppression, it would have its purpose covered by a summoner spell and no longer really be needed in the game -- with the exception being to counter DoT effects like Mordekaiser's ult.

what about boots? Swifties i've seen only on garen, mumu, and the odd ad carry (ash for more effective kiting for one though that is rare (very)) and seem kinda a joke item. Every other boot's are fine as there are (at least to my perspective, i'm not sure about you devs :P)

That doesn't stop it being an UNFUN item for both the person buying it (simply to counter a single champion) and the champion (Malz ult lasting 0.5 seconds and dealing 100 damage for an ult??)

Also, back when it was introduced, Malz ult continued even after QSS. Since then, it doesn't continue to do damage.

It's been known for a while that Phantom Dancer was just too good but nerfing it would've caused a drastic effect on AD carry mobility / balance for a while. We've shifted some statistics around into other items that AD carries can easily fit into their builds and now PD doesn't have to be the king of both AS, Crit and MS.

On the plus side, it now has Ignore Unit Collision on it though. How useful that passive is, I'm not sure - but it is something that people have been asking for quite a while on their carries.
Ignore Unit Collision would be immensely helpful for a champion like Udyr (I feel it should've gone into his passive after dodge removal), but I suppose for melee carries in general (Yi) it should be a step in the right direction.

That sounds more like a problem with Malzahar than a problem with QSS, no?

We're doing a change (or a bugfix, depending on your point of view) on both Warwick and Malzahar. Their ultimates will be treated like leashes... because they kind of are. (You can't QSS leashes. You can only break them via distance.)

What this means is that QSS will break the stunning effect on you but until you get out of range of them, it won't cancel the damage and other effects these characters will be doing. Malzahar will get his full Nether Grasp until they break the leash and Warwick typically gets 2 (maybe 3) more swipes before the target walks away.

Once again, you are beautiful. This is an actually fun change, even coming from an AD carry main.

then bait the QSS with other effects, or don't use it on the person with the QSS. option #2 may make you vulnerable in a teamfight, but it doesnt mean you cant catch someone slipping. Ive never seen a game where the entire enemy team bought QSS.

if there is one thing that shouldn't remove them it is Gangplank's stupid oranges. they are NOT k.

Xypherous what about the Guardian Angel, will it be getting any kind of changes?
