Well GD, it's been fun.

It's obvious that Riot GD staff is a bunch of ******s.

Though I feel a little bit for them because they have to wade through all the real spam and other stuff.

"We just want the forums to be a more fun place." - Something Reds say one way or another all the time.

Then instaban people because... they prefer RivenXAkali? Who the hell knows.

I'm actually disappointed with Riot lately. Usually I fanboy the living hell out of them and support everything they do, but there's just no reason for any of this.

Yep that's it. Riot is against their characters in fan fics that involve flirting with homosexuality.

EDIT: Oh and before other people here say the ban was deserved. Realize this was a ONE STRIKE, ONLY STRIKE PERMA BAN. That's right, Riot just dropped the banhammer not on a player who actually played the game but typed up a harmless less than one paragraph fan fic romance between three LOL characters. People who post actual pornography on this site don't even get that level of punishment.

You wanna know why people are getting upset at Riot and the people who participate in tribunal? The standards for people to have fun in their private lives is too high to the point where you can't actually even take that chance and take action. Riot just wants everyone's heads to be down on the desk and have everyone be bland and boring and only get to be exceptional when they approve it.

EDIT 2: I should also mention that if Riot really does pride itself on transparency then they shouldn't have anything to hide and tell us exactly why these players are banned for their works of fan fiction. If these players have been banned due to the Summoner's Code we have really have reached the point where Riot needs to start being specific as to what actions, words, statements would result in players getting banned. It is time to move from a nebulous philosophy where everyone can logically twist anything into a "negative player experience" into actual hard laws so that players here know what is exactly illegal and legal.

So to sum up Riot's response:

"We're choosing not to disclose why you were permabanned because if we did, people would find a lot of holes in our reasoning. We'd rather just keep the other move-worthy/ban-worthy threads on the GD to save ourselves times, but we need to ban you to remain consistent with our other recent permaban candidate."

Really disappointed in Riot for this one, I enjoyed the post Ahri made, my friends spread it around, and we all thought it funny. Apparently Riot thinks that, as previously stated, it's okay if someone who they like as a forum goer posts fanfics in GD(Rene Bot), but not okay if a fanfic is what someone gets famous for. Also, no forum sub topic gets attention, just like Ahri said in her appeal. That generic response seems like a super letdown to me, as well.

:*( riot. :*(
