Halo 2's matchmaking had something like this. You could opt to queue for a "good match", aka would take longer, but would be with people closer to your level. You could also opt for a "quick match" which was obviously very fast but was likely to match you up with people of varying levels. I think this is a feature that could take the edge off LoL's MM.
What do you guys think? Would you guys wait 5-10 minutes for a good match out of the matchmaker?
