teaching players is almost saying "this is how the meta goes" and riot doesn't want to have a set in stone meta

Who said anything about meta?

Did you not read half the stuff I posted?

People don't know CS is important. They don't know pushing someone out of lane is good and not to tower dive at level 7.

From being in low ELO most players have no idea what they are doing. They don't know how to lane against people. They don't know how to bait skills and take advantage of skills on cool down.

Those are all simple concepts to the game, nothing in any of that pertains to the meta.

Bump.

A good example would be to teach a Gragas player to stop going melee range when you have no tanky items.

Teach him to poke first in a team fight not to run in balls deep.

Bump.

If your picking a top that is not a bruiser and has no stun ask if the player playing jungle has anyone with a stun, if not do not pick them. It creates a team lack of any initiation or cc.

Mid is forced to pick someone with reliable CC/tankyness and bottom is required to pick a tanky/cc heavy support, cant go sustain.

this is so true, IMHO. Most toxic players are the ones that are convinced this is a death-match, always just keep pushing, ignoring last hits, chase chase chase and dive for those low hp bars, and then blame anyone playing safe for there deaths. And the powers that be just ignore this part of the problem entirely.

Thanks you, I am glad someone has finally responded to this after a few days of no comments.

This Genre of video game is not intuitive in the slightest. Its one of the more abstract type of video games to play. This is only compounded comparing it to games like CoD and most FPS games out there.
