If you're just looking for a big gap between the w/l record, then check out the members of PECS:

Nekrogen: http://lolmatches.com/playersearch/Nekrogen
Sauron: http://lolmatches.com/playersearch/Sauron
MMKH: http://lolmatches.com/playersearch/mmkh
MagiMelkor: http://lolmatches.com/playersearch/Magimelkor
Zaberz: http://lolmatches.com/playersearch/Zaberz

But like I originally stated, the W/L record or difference doesn't mean a lot because you could be the best dominion player but if you're on a team with 4 guys that don't care and are just trying champs out to go back to Summoner's Rift, you're going to lose.

My W/L record fluctuates between +30 and +50, but I've played against MMKH and Nekrogen plenty of times and have beaten them and have been beaten by them. So, I hope the information above I provided helps you win your argument, even if it isn't a good one! ;D

Too bad the elo part doesn't update anymore. The win/loss is still correct though.
I play with many of those guys in the old top 100 which I'm sure they're still part of.

To me, Elo became meaningless once Draft died. Blind is hardly a test of skill. More like a coin flip to see how many people are willing to stay away from top picks.

Pretty much this.

My W/L plummeted pretty hard once I wasn't able to ban out broken **** from the other team. Since I generally play low-mid tier stuff and don't tryhard very often, I relied on bans to keep the other team from tryharding too much.

While this number is decent to have handy, all it lets you know is that you have essentially converged to ~50% w/l localized wins can give you an idea how you are doing in the grand scheme of things. What I mean by that is keep track of how you are doing day to day in terms of win/losses and you can gain an idea of your overall improvement.

So if you wanted to be careful about tracking yourself you could save data in excel that has your (wins-losses) plotted daily and also keep track of your (w/l) per day as well on the same graph. It won't give you anything to compare yourself against (which is what elo is for), but it will give you a very solid idea of how you are progressing based on your rate of winning on top of your flat wins and loss numbers.
