The Half-Giant

Lore:
Home to a vast swamp and simple, nomadic life, Delcore was raised to respect nature’s beauty, and care for all of its needs. He became a legendary hunter, but as he grew older, he found himself more and more in love with fighting, simply for the sake of spilling blood. Found to be ceaselessly destructive, he was outcast from his tribe, and sent to wander alone for the rest of a near immortal life. Two years later, he found a strange hut in the highlands, secluded by a rock valley. The place was home to a young mage, though one that had a deathly cold aura about him. The man fed him and taught him to use his unholy thirst for a beneficial purpose, but, in doing so, cursed the giant. Delcore was then changed. The world seemed larger, the surfaces more crisp. The dark sorcerer had betrayed him. He fell into a berserk rage, leveling the hut, and attacking the wizard. He then found himself elsewhere, taken to a new world, a forest, similar to that of his home, but somehow corrupt. In fact, it was too similar. The trees are in the same place, but much larger. The grasses were of a texture and scent that reminded him of home, and the bizarre bugs that were created through runic affinity by shamans. He was abhorred to find that his home was tainted by warring magics, and that so much time had passed. Pitted against foes unknown, he now searches for the mage, an endless quest to retrieve his identity, and destroy the mage responsible.

-- Abilities --

Passive: Giant’s Strength: Delcore’s attack damage is boosted by 1/1.5/2/2.5% of his current health, gaining a small boost to this percentage with each level of his ultimate.
To clarify, THIS DOES NOT STACK WITH MAX HP!!! If Delcore has half of his max hp, he gets half the damage boost as he would at full. For instance, Delcore at 4000 hp would give 40 dmg at no ult level (not likely) and Delcore at 2000 hp would give 20 dmg at no ult level. However, at max ult lvl, 4000 hp Delcore gains an extra 100 dmg, and a 2000 hp Delcore would gain 50. Assuming through all of this, his max hp could be infinite.

Q: Terrifying Shout: Delcore screams a horrific battle cry that fears enemies for 1 second and lowers their armor and magic resist for 4 seconds.
Scaling and uses:
Armor reduction: 5/10/15/20/25% (+5% of armor)
Magic resist reduction: 5/8/10/13/15% (+5% of magic resist)
Cooldown: 15/13/10/8/5 seconds
Range: 425
The use of this ability in team fights and brawls is strongly promoted, as the fear allows for skillshots to land and allies to flee. The reductions also allow the abilities to hit harder, along with more damage in a brawl, making you lethal, even at low health. This ability is also good for jungling, as camps will be less resistant to attacks and are feared.

W: Burst of Earth: Delcore Drags his claws into the ground, showering the area in front of him with dirt and rocks, dealing damage and blinding any caught in the blast facing him.
Scaling and uses:
Dmg: 60/80/100/120/150 (+100% of bonus ad)
Blind duration: 1sec
Cooldown: 10/9/9/8/8
Range: 650 (width of talon’s “Rake,” but a slightly longer range.)
As Delcore’s main damage output and harassment ability, this should be maxed first. This also allows him to counter anyone with basic attacks and a lack of survivability in sustained fights. That being said, this ability requires a large amount of skill to be used EFFECTIVELY. It can also be rendered near useless if the enemy champion turns around during the small cast time.

E: Gigantic Leap: Delcore jumps toward an ally or enemy, dealing damage to enemies or giving allies increased movespeed for 2 seconds.
Scaling and uses:
Dmg: 40/60/80/100/120 (+75% of ad)
Movespeed: 10/20/30/40/50%
Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12
Range: 675
Buffing allies with a jump can allow an ally to escape when used in combination with terrifying shout, or can be used with the shout as well in order to deal decent harassment to an enemy. When in the jungle, this will allow a leashing champion to quickly get back to their lane, while still allowing the leash to be effective. It can also allow for ganks, or to escape a fight that Delcore would inevitably lose.

R/Ult: Ceaseless destruction: Delcore becomes unable to receive damage for three seconds, gaining an attack and movespeed buff during this duration.
Scaling and uses:
Attack Speed: 15/20/25%
Move Speed: 20/25/30%
Cooldown: 100/90/80 seconds
This ultimate can allow Delcore to effectively have time to give support to allies, or pick up a kill that would otherwise be unattainable. Being a tanky dps, this increases his damage output and his ability to absorb damage, which buffs his gameplay all around. With either a tanky or damage based playstyle, this ultimate will allow the benefit to complete his gameplay, and truly cause a synergy will all of his abilities and items. That being said, I find that this ultimate was hard to choose over a vast number of other choices, and am open to other suggestions.
