For god's sake, Phreak did bash the NA team after they lost the first match. He was fair. Just went a little dramatic at he end.

As far as I know, you EU community aren't even supporting your team as much as you should have. All you care is about winning the NA team. Selfish *******s. A heard a lot of you guys saying things like "SK sucks, don't even know how they win the EU championship. Fureur should be the one representing." If you guys can't even stick for your own team, don't expect much respect from our NA community.

These are professional gamers we're talking about. They put up straight faces even in the face of defeat. They don't go cry baby. They can take some bashing, just like any other sport. Commentators are not suppose to be completely neutral, especially since Phreak represents NA Riot. Phreak poked fun of both teams, it's just the EU team gave him more chance to poke fun of. Nothing wrong with it. Both team go home as winners. They made it all the way to the finals with a fair sum of prize money.

So please EU community. Swallow your own pride. Learn to support your team better next time. And stop being a cry baby. Phreak was a good representative for Riot. He promoted the game well. Explained the mechanics of the game. Attracted great attention to an upcoming game for us to enjoy in the future. Don't give him a hard time please.

So please get off this topic already. Phreak did his job. The British commentator made some comments too, but the EU team was just being dominated in the last 2 games, which didn't leave him much room to flame against the NA's performance.

The rivalry is set, hopefully we get to see more intense fights next year.
Simple problem:

British dude - Someone not directly involved with Riot.

Phreak - Well known employee of Riot.

So to follow this **** logic everyone spouts to it's conclusion. Riot doesn't like their EU customers, clearly demonstrated by Phreaks degrading commentary, who, as a Riot employee, is the voice of Riot at the WCG.

If Phreak is going to be that biased he should not commentate. Just because he is a commentator doesn't mean he suddenly stops being an employee of Riot, and a representative of their image.

Simple global business 101 failure.

Phreak even stated himself that he was a biased commentator because he's friends with all of CLG and plays with them often. He stated himself that he was proud of CLG not just because it was the NA team, but because his friends managed to come out on top.

He bashed NA pretty hard in the first round after their loss and was poking fun of them whenever he mentioned that TF was banned. He also mentioned quite a few times how he thought CLG was playing scared and how their initiations were looking pretty sloppy.

Yes, he turned it up a notch on EU when NA managed to break through everything EU had, but before that it was wholesale bashing on CLG. Get over it.

Obviously you don't know the skill gap between being a wifi warrior and actually being a pro player.

european pussies cant handle a few mocking blows?
the commentators were set up the way they were for a purpose
apparently the EU commentator was so ashamed by the faceroll the NA players were giving the EU players that he really had nothing to compliment them on
i mean seriously...did you guys see kass? lol
Phreak on the other hand, was pumped by the face rolling rofl stomp on them after TF got banned
they relied on one ****ing carry to win them the WCG

come on guys, nothing lost this for them other than themselves

Actually at the beginning they explained that the British guy is actually a Community Manager on the EU board or so they said, so that would make him a Riot Employee as well and rather well known to the EU players
