So some friends and I want to go as League champs for Halloween, and we've decided to stick with the meta. I've been selected as the support, therefore I shall be Taric. I've never done cosplay or any of that before, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some handy tips or like a guide to make a satisfactory Taric costume. Thanks in advance!

Which Taric skin are you going as? A lot of people seem to do the 5th age Taric XD

Since it's already two weeks to halloween, you'll probably need to invest in some cardboard and some foamies for the armor. I'd suggest if you have someone to help you, make patterns for the armor pieces from paper (http://amethyst-angel.com/armortutorial/armormaking_patterns.html)first. like literally tape a bunch of paper together, hold it up to you, and cut until it's the right fit. Then when you take it off to cut on the cardboard (or whatever you decide to use for the armor) it's the right shape and stuff. If you had time and interest I'd suggest wonderflex but since it's just halloween, I think your best bet would be cardboard.

There's a guy that goes by Featherweight (http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=97106)on the cosplay forums and he pretty much only makes stuff from cardboard and it looks legit. I tried to find applicable tutorials for you but I couldn't. I'd still suggest taking a look if you have time for general working with cardboard ideas!

Foamies are those bendy foam sheets that come in different colors and you could use them for details or smaller pieces of armor like the knee/shin guards.

Oh! Another thing I forgot is paper mache. It can be totally awesome since it's just flour and water and newspaper. An effective way to make armor from it is to build on an object that is close in size and shape to whatever armor part you are making. Something I've done that is cool is this (http://latinvixen.phpwebhosting.com/dtd.htm): put on an old shirt or pants or wherever the armor is, and have someone wrap over it in duct tape until it's really thick. Then when they cut you out of it, you have a sturdy model of your body to build on!

This guy (http://alhon.deviantart.com/art/Truly-Truly-Outrageous-211185673) had a great idea for the hammer: said he used a PVC pipe and a 5 gallon paint bucket!

eeer i like cosplay.

I would suggest using cardboard for the pattern pieces, but then making the actual armor from either Sintra or Wonderflex.
http://www.tri-dee.com/Sintra%20sheets%20information.htm
http://www.cosplaysupplies.com/tutorials.php

Sintra is a sturdier plastic, but it warps easily. Wonderflex is very pliable and doesn't warp but its not as thick as Sintra.
I made my Mandalorian armor from Sintra and it came out pretty good, but it still warped a bit. (see attached)
I've yet to try Wonderflex out on a costume I can show you though....
Good luck!!

Armour of the 5th Age Taric has less pointy armour pieces, just need pink fuzzy fabric instead and you are good to go!

If you are MAN enough that is.
