[Counter-Guide] How to Lane/Fight against Vlad (Or: Stop *****ing and read this)

Well, you say save your CC for after his pool but any decent Vlad will be saving his pool for UNTIL they see a stun coming right at them. The great thing about pool is that if you see the animation for a stun coming at you and you pop pool, Sion or Taric's stun will just fizzle and you will run away laughing to the blood bank. Which is again, why sanguine pool is amazing for escaping even though it has been nerfed. Another reason map control and enemy awareness are key if you want to play Vlad, or any character really. As someone who plays Vlad though he is definitely NOT op.

If he doesn't use his pool then you just keep him slowed and attack him to death. He'll have to pool sooner or later

Ah, but in the section about CC no one said anything about slows. Clearly if you are going up against a slow situation you will want to pool prior to the slow effect. Or close the gap if you're fighting say Ashe and nuke them down at close range.
