To be honest, I do enjoy my own champions more often then not. There's a good amount of attachment I have to them just due to them being mine. Though then again, I create champions that I want to play =-P, so that's sort of cheating.

As for L's, I'm sure you'll see them coming up. Q...less so...

I actually don't like Gangplank at all =-/. He has 5 abilities which I don't find to be very synergistic (though each of them is powerful in their own right). I have heard some want to make some larger changes, though we don't know which ones yet.

Well, I'm not playing much at the moment, though I've tried Civ V and Halo: Reach. As for shows, I generally prefer long archs (Battlestar / Stargate: Universe / Breaking Bad) or politically incorrect comedies like It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia.

What do you think of flash at the moment? And do you know what the majority opinion of it is at Riot? Remove or not to remove?

I personally don't think that removing flash will make things "Go faster" or encourage the aggression easier. If anything it feels like it would lead to more super conservative play especially for champs who already have bad escape mechanisms. The way SR is mapped out I think is what makes escaping so easy.

Also any going ons with Corki?

The only one I've seen is Wickd's. Seems to be pretty well matched up to the Euro meta.

Irelia is two champions out right now, and she's just going in to get particles as we speak. She's a melee dps champ who focuses on trading out defense for offense. For example, she has Hiten Style (akin to Wuju Style), which gives her auto attacks flat health return, she can activate it to lose the health return but gain true damaging attacks for a short period of time. I haven't tried her out as a jungler yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if she fits that goal super well.



Much appreciated =-D. Unfortunately I haven't been involved in the live team (Balance) recently, so I don't know that much about Ezreal updates. Though if his AP build is really that bad, I'll look into it. I was leaning towards giving Mystic shot a split AP/AD ratio while lowering his other AP ratios. How does that sound?
This would be fantastic.

Although I think he could use maybe a few other minor tweaks;

Arcane Shift should maybe prioritize the nearest champion over the nearest minion, similar to Sona's Q.

Also, I'm not certain initially if the other abilities (WER) need to have their ratios lowered further, i might suggest giving an AP ratio to Q (maybe .45) and going from there on a test realm. It will breed a new generation of AP ezreals,but i think that is fine. I think his passive might also be tweaked to work more like a built in rageblade, i.e maybe scale back to attack speed increase to 10% (vs 15) and add in a bonus ability power based on level, scaling up to 5x times.

How do you feel about a riot-driven champion design contest?
You show us some art-department genius and hold a competition where the community sends in ability designs, without values on the skills, to be evaluated.
That way the champion suggestion people get what the want and the designers get to spend their time reading grammarless champion designs rather than brainstorming.

Ezreal,

Big Fan. I have two questions for you;

Are there any plans to allow Akali to shadow dance to allies? In the current game against high ELO, she becomes entirely too easy to shut down. While she is something of a newbie killer, I think her effectiveness diminishes far too quickly against competent teams (oracles is too much of a hard counter, as is the current heavy AOE gameplay). Since it would still consume one of her Essences of Shadows, would it be bad? I do not think Akali needs buffs perse, but some way to at least survive and accomplish her role of a melee assassin in high tier game play, rather than pray on 'newbs'.

On Ezreal, have you guys considered fundamentally changing Ezreal to an AS/AP hyrbid champ? Right now the only ad synergies he has is A) his Q and B) his passive attack speed. Maybe changing his Q to scale off AP (although poorly) and changing his passive to: 10% increased attack speed (down from 15%) and converts 10% of ability power to bonus damage. Stacks up to 5 times. Throw a 'passive' on to essence flux that provides ezreal the ability to debuff enemies with auto attacks (example: deals X(based off skill level) bonus magic damage and the target deals 3% less damage with abilities for 3 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times). Effectively he becomes a mage/assassin with some support with enhanced burst (to fufill his assassin role better) as he hits with abilities (which I think coincides with his imagined role a bit better). Applying debuffs with auto attacks and bonus static damage give a reason to peruse AS in a build as well.

I just bring this up because Ezreal seems to be a bit of a bipolar champion; if you go one route, then 3 of his abilities dont hit hard, if you go another route, then the other is kinda meh. Trick is his abilities have mana costs/damage/scaling of mage characters, but his passive indicates something like a fighter role, his health and teleport and burst imply an assassin. I just think given all that + the split in his itemization might be a bit too much...Do not get me wrong, I dont think Ezreal needs so much of a 'buff' but I think there should be more synergy between all of his abilities.
