So, has Riot explained why the stage was so poorly designed, yet?

You know what else could lead to a victory? AZF sends their top laner into Tri-bush to protect like everyone else in this game. They catch TSM invading, loop around, and pentakill them at level 1 and lose 0 people. Conjecture about a game is useless. What could have happened is meaningless. If the internet problems didn't happen, we could theoretically say that WE should have played Azubu Frost in the semifinals because they "were" going to win game two before the internet went out. Or maybe in game 5 CLG was going to run into the fountain on purpose every single time they spawned, so WE absolutely should've won the series. Riot listed their rules, explained their punishments, admitted they screwed up with how they set up the stage, and now it's done.

Seriously, 99.9% of the people who have posted in this thread would do the same thing in a similar situation. Unlike typical cheating situations, Riot are the ones who enabled this to happen. It's like your teacher forgetting to erase the notes on the board when a test is going on. Most of the class will notice it, but they won't say a thing. They'll use the notes to assist them in the test because it's HUMAN NATURE. There might be one student who alerts the teacher, and then they erase the board. The teacher knows they screwed up. The people who looked don't get punished because it's the teacher's fault. AZF asked a student next to them about the notes on the board, which is against the rules, but it's not the same as copying their paper. So they get docked some points but they aren't forced to fail the test because the teacher messed up.

TL;DR- Stop saying AZF needs to be disqualified for cheating. If you want them disqualified, every single one of the other teams that broke the rules in ANY way should be DQ'd as well. You either want all of them or none of them. This would include TSM.

Honestly, I don't like this.

It sets a bad precedent for the sport that a legitimately proven advantage gain by circumventing the rules is still allowed to be crowned "champion".

Actual effect on the game or not, this team still sought to deliberately gain an imbalanced advantage over their competition.

And if they win they will still be named the most "skilled" team?

That simply makes the sport questionable, and Riot will need to get much harder on cheating as the sport grows.

They may have some leeway as it's small now, but these events are as good as one American Football team paying a spy to listen in as another team makes their plays.

After you supported the complete disqualification of Curse and Dignitas from another tournament for playing an ARAM to please their fans, this current decision is not only inconsistent, but disgusting.

I will be uninstalling and never playing your game again. To merely fine a team that is winning a MILLION dollars only 30k is a slap in the face to the community and integrity of the game and is completely UN-acceptable in esports.

I will also be contacting any and all sponsors of your game and of AZF and encouraging anyone I know to do so as well.

Bad form , Riot. Bad form.

Seriously... it's like people, such as yourself, can't read nowadays. It was concluded that TSM did not cheat. And Riot understood their mistakes of keeping players from moving their heads. It's hard enough to sit still especially when the tension is up, but to add to it, there is the possibility of temptation or the unrelenting worry that the other team could be cheating which only adds to more tension. That being said, if the players did turn their heads but did not intend to cheat or did not gain anything from it gameplay-wise they were simply warned because riot realized the issue itself was born from their mistake.

Azubu, however, flat out cheated! And regardless of them winning both games, the fact that their peaking at the mini map had an effect on the game is definitely enough premise for disqualification. Stop calling people crybabies, and tsm fanboys, because if any other team cheated i would be pushing for their DQ as well. The sad part is there are more TSM fan haters than there are fans, so they just sit around calling people biased fanboys. Open your eyes and start being a little more objective.

My last point is that first blood is a huge morale booster. Its down right fallacious to believe that just because Azubu won by a mile that they would have done so anyway had TSM's strategy worked. Hindsight is 20/20 and you never know how hard Dyrus could have snowballed with a firstblood. Now imagine how crushed TSM must have been that their first strat would get d***ed over by some cheater, and they have no way of proving it for themselves. Thats a big blow to their moral and we all know that because it happen to all of us when we play at some point or another.
