The World of Aeon

Runeterra spins and revolves around Lord Arkainos blazing eyes. He watches the clouds turn and twist. He watches the beings gaze into his eyes [Stars, Sun]. He observe every organism, creature, monster, and every single speck in this world. As days and nights goes by, his dominance over the heavens tremble as the new foe consume their way to the empyrean. But these new foes are special, it was his first time a being that he can not touch or harm could have the ability to threaten his position. Something must be done. He watches the other Aeons observe the terrestrial realm. A commotion between the Aeons that there was a way to manifest into this realm, a way to act in the physical realm. As Arkainos listen to the Aeons conversation, he smiled.

"The gods do not have to worry, their air shall not be corrupted. The plan has been set. The wheel is in motion. It's time to descend to the larger stage."

Arkainos then enters Runeterra and descend on to the continent, Valoran. Waiting and searching his Avatar.

Noxus, Enes Household

After some time with the Hand of Jericho Swain, newly appointed High General of Noxus - Joshua retired after hours of feasting, drinking, and dancing. He found, that with each step he was more drunk then he knew. And despite this awareness, he could only smile stupidly at it, stumble around his moderately furnished home of moderate wealth, and knock over a very expensive vase with Shurima Lilies inside.

As the painted glass smashed, and shatters into dozens of pieces against the tile floor, Joshua becomes alert and promptly "Shh! Shh! Shhhhh!" At the air in all directions. He goes somewhat prone, looking this way and that as if he were accompanied by others. And perhaps, in his mind, he was. Nobody else resided in his household, that was certain. "Bloody v-va-vase... N-never know when... to keep quiet!" He hiccups in between his words and begins to kneel to scoop up the pieces when he stumbles forward and nearly face plants. This time, to catch himself, he tries to lean on the hallway table the vase had rested on and shoves it away too - resulting in him actually face planting.

That's when he heard it. The voice... As he lay there, face in the floor, arms to his side, and back arched like the passed out drunk he was, he heard the words, "What does the sword mean to you?"

Considering this part of his drunken stupor, Joshua closes his eyes and effortlessly passes out. For hours, and probably half way into the next day, he sleeps. Occasionally, he thought, in his dreams he could hear the same words repeating themselves over and over again. He wakes, pushes himself off the floor and moves into the kitchen to prepare his daily protein and energy blend for his morning regiment when he hears, "What does the sword mean to you?"

He drops the Piltoverian caffeine capsules he was about to break down, and reaches for his sword. Now annoyed, and somewhat more alert than before he begins to look around his home - first out his kitchen windows, then to his hall where he had passed out, and proceeding into his rather spacious, and empty living area. "If there is someone here, I suggest you speak now. Trespassing is a sure way to get yourself killed, especially in my home."

And again, as if burned into his mind the emblazoned words call out, "What does the sword mean to you?" Relaxing a bit, he slows his search and listens to the words a moment. Satisfied to have a sword in his hand, he was hardly afraid if there were someone in his home toying with him. He found, in this comfort of holding the sword, that he was calm, relieved.

That was when Joshua sat on a silk fabric chair, green, and lay the sword across his lap. He would humor the voice, whether it was in his mind or not. "The sword is the symbol of Noxus. The symbol of a warrior, a man who embraces his strength, that strength above all else provides the means to progress. Strength of arm for the battlefield, strength of mind for affairs of life and politics, and strength of heart. But above all else, the sword is the extension of a soldiers will, his strength. My sword is my soul, the very heart of me." He relaxed onto his chair, slouching back and never letting go of the sword. "Now, figment of my imagination, unless you have something more for me... be on your way, Lest I show to you how well I handle this sword."
"I assure you, not a quarter as well as I do, seeing the way you treat yourself...
Swords embody grace, speed over strength. Swords are a specialisation, taking something for cutting and turning it into something for hacking. Some of you say that a weapon is an extent of it's user's arm. When held by it's true warrior, a Sword almost is it's own swordsman. You show potential, but you don't know about the hidden blades of a warrior, I believe. Perhaps a proper introduction is in order. I Am C'Hart. I can help you achieve mastery. May I be struck with Curiosity and ask your name?"

Joshua lowered his face into the palm of his hand and shook his head. Not even thirty and having a mental breakdown. Terrific. He sighed, after lifting his head up. For a moment, he said nothing, but thought of the words. Were he crazy, he may as well play the part - nothing to be done sulking about it. When the Noxian military learned, he'd likely be discharged, or sent off to a special unit... And special units of Noxus, were so infrequently anything "special."

A moment passes and he decidedly says, rather foolishly and missing the point being made by the Aeon, "Hidden blades? We have assassins for that in Noxus." He grinned at his own stupidity after the words came out. "Never mind. I'm sure, conscience, that you are implying something much deeper and philosophical. My name is Joshua Enes, Captain of the Noxian Tempest Brigade, servant of Darius, Hand of Noxus. Now.. what do you want, oh Master of the Blades?"

"What I want, may not require that much cynism, Joshua Enes. Disbelief may leave you. Do not be struck with Fear, I will leave you alone as soon as I have found someone. I want... well, call it A aprentice for now. Hope struck me lightly when I saw you. You have potential, yet. I do not think you will live long enough to achieve your peak alone. Perhaps, once I have the blade of Trust in you, or someone else who is worthy, I can help you reach it much sooner. The sword is all I can do directly, and only once it seems... But Through a worthy student, my influence could be much greater. Get the blade of Worry out of you, you have not been struck by Insanity. Hand me your Trust, and I can in turn, help you. Think about it for a while, Joshua, but not too long.

"Cynicism, C'hart, or is it Chart?" Joshua chuckled. "That is quite a name. Anyway, cynicism is in the blood of Noxians. If you're true blooded, you seek out every opportunity to belittle your opponents, or whomever you come across for that matter."

Joshua got up, holding the sword in one hand and looked at the broken vase from earlier. "Well, I'm not sure what you are asking, but I don't typically train under imaginary voices. What can you offer me, in truth, spirit? My time is valuable, and my trust is hard to earn. What's in it for you?"

Gaia examines the small being, apparently a "dwarf", with intense interest as he spoke. Someone with knowledge of the earth would be a good Avatar, after all, but she did not expect it to be this easy to find someone so fast. What surprised her was a comparison to another being: "Mother Nature". She thought to tell him of what she was, an Aeon, but figured it would be easier to explain things if he did end up as her Avatar.

"My name is of little importance... but you may call me Mother Nature if you wish. Why do they call you the Wrath of the Earth, little one?"

Aochi wiped the sweat off his brow, having just completed his set of excersis for the day. In truth, his training as a whole had ground to stop, his mentors often busy, so he was left without a purpose, with no cause to fight for. (( not sure what else to put because I don't know what is going on right now ))

((It's spoken Kart or Khart, atleast it is to me))
"I'm not a chart, though a good swordsman needs one to know where he's going. It's C'hart. In your language, with a C and a apostrophe. I'm C'hart, Aeon of Swords. Explaining what that means would take a lifetime. About your tactics, it is not bad, but sometimes it is better to raise your opponent above who he is. Slashing Pride at opponents instead of Shame can be advantageous. consider that a free lesson."

"I will not deceive you. Would I find a student, I could gain influence over this world. Perhaps even enough so to represent myself here. That is the rumor amongst us. Perhaps, once you have had time to think, I could... prove myself to be worth your time. I can only strike your mind, not your body or soul, so I could never hold true victory. I could perhaps do more than just teach you. But that would leave you, with a little bit of me, and I can not do that unless you are willing to try.

"You must be new here, Aeon of Swords." Joshua brushed himself off and held out his sword, pointing it outright. "This is Noxus, we do not end up like... that." He points the blade at the broken vase on the floor. "Strength drives me, and strength by any means is beautiful. If you say, it is my own potential that you would assist me in finding..? By what mad reasoning could I refuse such generosity?"

He walked towards his kitchen and picked up the caffeine capsules he dropped earlier. He grabs a cup from the counter a few feet away and begins to grind the capsules on a cutting board. "I was just getting prepared for my daily training. Perhaps you have something else in mind for me, C'hart? I accept your offer, Aeon. Teach me what you know and I will assist you in finding your place in my world."
