i don't think there is a delay.

when teams pull off a victory they will get out of their seats and cheer and hug each other.

if spectator mode was on, then the audience would know who won before the final fight, just by watching the players.

Agree. Anyone ever play Halo with friends and not EVER screen cheat? It's human nature to take advantage of any possible situation.

A lot of people are point out that it's on a spectator-mode delay. Frankly, I don't care. If you observe an opponent with free insider info for any length of time, patterns emerge. For example, "Hey, they've kept [location] consistently warded the entire laning phase so far. Our jungler should avoid going through that area, or grab an pink ward for easy gold." There's also even simpler uses for this like "Has their ward on Baron timed out?" If you can see an enemy ward on Baron on the delayed map, THAT ward has without fail timed out by the time you're aware of it, which means you can easily find a window of opportunity where either their support is out of position, or Baron is dark on their side. Your opponents should never, EVER get to see information normally only seen by your team, even if that information is slightly out of date.
