Well, that's what you'd think, and then you see what might happen with a 'spider queen':

I think this argument would have been better using Ruthless Pantheon as an example (since he has the same crotch problem only he's looking down as if at someone on their knees below him). In the case of Jayce, while Riot decided to give us an upshot of him, they also managed to show him in the position he MUST assume in order to shoot the weapon that he wields (if you notice him in-game, his stance changes along with his weapon and his cannon stance requires him to have a sturdier base). Also, Jayce is looking straight forward as if to imply his target is in front of him. What reason does Ruthless Pantheon have to look downward while we're forced to focus on his bulging crotch in hot pants (just for the record, I do believe that Pantheon skin is overly sexualized).
I am straight, and a dude, but I wont lie, I would go gay for pantheon.

Fiora is twisting around so you can get a good view of her "assets" and giving you the **** me eyes while doing it. You can see a similar pose on a real woman in an obviously sexual picture below for comparison. The fact of the matter is if you try to make that pose in real life you have to bend your back at an extreme angle, and there's no practical reason to do it beyond sexual appeal. It's certainly not a fighting stance.

While Lee might not be able to fight the way he's standing, it's a pose that shows his strength and dexterity. Fiora's only shows how far she can stick her ass out and spread her legs while still standing up.

one in the middle, a fencing pose in the same stance as fioras art (withot the dagger)

Those poses are in the middle of lunging, and have their swords fully extended. They're also looking straight ****ing forward.

Fiora is not striking, she's just standing there looking over her shoulder. If she was actually fighting that way she'd be looking to the right of her picture and the sword wouldn't be pointed straight at the viewer. It's a ridiculously imbalanced pose and any fencer would tell you it's completely impractical to have your back arched that way.

Jesus you people are ****ing dense. I guess pimple-faced adolescents really can't see why girls who look like pornstars don't make for good characters in a game about combat. EVIDENCE BE DAMNED, YOU GUYS ARE TOTALLY RIGHT EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN'T SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TWO CLEARLY DIFFERENT POSES.

This sounds like the makings of a graduate thesis. You make very valid points. The reason the game sexualizes women is a simple yet complicated one. The short answer is that women are sexualized in practically all forms of media in the western world. It's not surprising that this trend has found its way into League of Legends.

-Practical clothing for women. Why does Syndra look like she walked out of a BSDM store while another male mage such as Swain wears a full robe? Why does Akali wear barely nothing when Shen and Kennen are fully clothed? Why does Sejuani wear a fur bikini in a climate like northern Russia? Also, everyone hates battle heels.

-Readability as an excuse to give all females giant boobs or Barbie waists is about as logical as telling a real woman that you cannot tell if she is female or male because her boobs aren't big enough or she's too fat. (expect a slap in the face if you ever tell a woman that)
Yes but now the thread has derailed to the point where men who are insecure about their genitals or sexuality are flaming. QFT, and also an attempt to bring the discussion back to where it should be.

That's because the dagger does nothing to undermine the overall argument. It's another asset that the artist wanted to show off at the expense of verisimilitude. That doesn't say anything about the other assets the artist showed off at the expense of verisimilitude.

No serious fighter would be caught dead in that posture, mid-whirl or no. Exposed as ****, no solid base, no strength behind the sword, you're just asking to die.

But the fact that women care about it is what's really sad.
