I like how a Red is supporting this :>

I really hope to see some more female players in this game, it would add more..flavour I guess and they are different in their personalities.

keep your porn out of our game.

there's other places you can go to get your jollies tickled much more effectively. if you need a few pixels of skin-tone to get it up, that's not our problem or responsibility to pander to.

The only thing that makes me angry about ready this thing is that it's ok for men to be sexualized having rock hard abs you can cook bacon on, shirless sexy chests, and rugged good looks. But when it comes to women it's wrong cause there girls, hurray for double standards.

Clearly missed the point

Question: Is there a reason why none of the very anthropomorphic animal champions have been female?

I mean: Shyvana, Ahri and Cassiopeia come to mind as anthropomorphic, but are mostly human bodies. When I think about Nasus, Warwick, Renekton, or Volibear, they are mostly animals who walk and talk like humans. They are not humans, who have a few animal traits like Ahri or Cassiopeia.

Welp, you'll see it when we release it. I also am pretty sure I know that I know female champions don't have to be "sexy". "Sexy" is actually the worst generalization you can throw around because of all the vast opinions on what is so. My version of sexy is probably a far cry from yours. Please don't generalize or assume to know my preferences. I have a feeling you have no idea what I think.

actions speak louder than words.

don't dare to take the moral high road with those pretensions of indignant righteousness with us. you aren't fooling anyone.

so yes we will see if you release it, won't we. it's been two years already, Riot. how 'bout it, eh?

You can say this when they clothe male champions in a realistic way, give them body types even remotely approaching humanity, and create human males who are ugly for some reason other than something that applies directly to their kit (i.e. Gragas).

If you try to come at me with that garbage that men are athletic while women are *** objects. I'll just have you read this:

A bare (in most of these cases, bulky and muscular) male chest is powerful; a bare female chest is sexy. It's not a perfect comparison.

This is exactly the point I was making in my original post in this thread. You cannot make this claim. The claim itself is sexist, and demeaning to men.

Let me share a personal example from my life: My rib cage sticks out a bit horizontally. My chest will never stick out over the top of my ribcage the way Garen's does. This may sound stupid to you, but this has been a source of real concern for me in terms of body image my entire life. Most of my life I've been benlow 8% body fat (I wrestled most of my life, and have been in excellent shape) but "felt fat" because my musculature never matched the ideal I had in my head (The Rock, essentially).

This is 100% as legitimate as any woman who feels negative in some way because of Ashe's lithe figure. My explanation of sexualization is 100% as legitimate as any concern any woman may have over Miss Fortune.

To deny this is inherently sexist. The fact that men have less of a problem with being sexualized lies more in their acceptance of sexualization than anything else. If you have an issue with sexualization, examine yourself. Sexualization doesn't mean you're not taken seriously - there is not a player in this game who doesn't take laning against an Irelia, Akali, or whoever else seriously. The female champions are not seen as inferior to male champions.

As I said, the OP's topic is too vague, doesn't make any real defensible point, and flirts heavily with sexism against men.

I don't know how much porn you've seen, but male porn stars (this is a big generalization, considering the vast array of porn available) are typically defined by two things: Size of junk and athletic build. Athletes literally look like strippers/porn stars. You will never see a Chippendale who doesn't have a Garen frame (Or, at the very least, a Varus frame). Go ahead, do a Google Image search.

This image isn't supposed to imply "If I buy those underwear, people will think I'm good at soccer:" http://bodyfitnessgain.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/David-Beckham-2.jpeg

The blatant mysandry in this thread sickens me.

You saying that we're missing the point is overt sexism, and is offensive.

My concern arises when "feminism" means ignoring an overall trend (League is built around visually pleasing, up to and including sexually suggestive champions) in favor of making an argument about one ***.

When you completely ignore an entire gender being treated the same way, you're being sexist. This **** isn't quantum physics.

Link me a definition of any word I've used incorrectly. Ignoring my points doesn't make you any less wrong.
