Anything that isn't played with a ball can't be a sport.

bc esports are as important or more important than real sports in asian countries. we still dominate every real sport other than soccer/futball.

NA is a joke in E-sports because E-sports is a joke in NA.

As soon as people change the mentality of video games being things for children and manchildren in their mothers' basements, NA will get a lot better at E-sports.

No, e-sports are a joke in NA because we don't understand the concept of "team". The players are too egotistical and too self-centered to form a strong cohesive unit. When mistakes are made, teammates rage and point fingers instead of addressing the issues. When their strategy fails, they just fall apart.

The contrast between a real team and a NA team was pretty apparent yesterday when the Korean teams basically roflstomped them. It wasn't that individually they were much better than their American counterparts. It was that they played as a team much better than their American counterparts. The NA teams looked sloppy and disorganized by comparison.

If NA really wants to compete there needs to be a fundamental shift in our attitudes and perspectives. This is a TEAM game. Thinking you're god's gift to the gaming world and raging at everyone else is going to get you beat, and hard. Especially in professional competitions.

EU is stronger in DotA imo. Even though Dreamhack said otherwise. Na`Vi and M5 too stronk

Oh... so that's why ONLY 7 out of the top 8 teams in the International 2012 Dota 2 Championships were from Asia...
