If it's an error on LoL, could I see a quote of the error you're getting or a screenshot? Not that i can help but I'd like to know more as well as have more info posted on this thread.

Not sure if we're all just bad coincidences or if LoL is having problems with prepaid debit cards.
No, it's not really expired. I just used it to get a kindle book on amazon and it worked fine. Only the RP store said that it was expired. There must be something wrong with the store itself.

I wish we could get an official response via support ticket or forum moderator to let us know if it's a game problem or if we're all just bad lucked.
At least if someone gets a support ticket reply, please post what they said?

Okay, apologies about that, actually, yeah, I think it's a problem with Riot's purchase-system right now. They did do some mysterious patch recently.
May be that they're trying to track down some fraud at the moment.
