Cho'Gath's Vorpal Spikes, is a great attack but it can be his passive, I don't know maybe a sprint attack or a range one, because Cho'Gath can be: solo top, mid or bot, if its mid, its a little bit harder to push because he is not a range champion so a range attack would be great, maybe like the Varus arrow or the Gragas body slash or something like that, right?

Cho'gath, from my experience, is fine where he is. His current passive gives him lane sustain and that sustain is needed since he has to get into melee range to get CS. Take him into the jungle and you can see a similar result. Passive gives him sustain while clearing camps and his spikes allow Cho'gath to strike multiple creeps. This amounts to him having more HP coming out of the jungle and being able to clear camps at a good pace. Altering his passive to be his spikes would end up weakening his jungle and laning abilities. The addition of a ranged attack doesn't help when Cho'Gath was designed to be at the front line of teamfight and use his Rupture and Scream to control his opponent's ability to put up a fight, thus allowing his team more freedom in slaying their foes.

If you didnt want a response, then you shouldnt have ended your post with a "?" mark OP. That implies you would like other opinions.

cho's passive makes him a pretty safe top laner because he has alot of build in free sustain and decent harass by just leveling up e first.

Makes him annoying to deal with if you are a bruiser, and makes him one of the only effective tops against yorick.
