Hi everybody I am realtively new to LoL, been playing for about 3 weeks. I have 4 other friends that I usually play with in a premade. What sort of champions should we pick, like what categorys. For example last night we played with Warwick, Cho Gath, Ashe, Diana, and Kaylee. Is this a good mix or no?

Thanks

most people will pick an Ability power champ mid, like annie.
bot lane will be support + ad carry. (soraka + ashe)
Top lane can either be ap or ad, but a someone who is tanky (cho gath, nasus, etc.)
jungle will most likely be a tanky champion too, (nunu, warwick, etc)

But what you just listed, is decent, kayle is not that good as support.
Soraka/janna/blitz/ali/sona and the better supports.

You're probably still playing duo top and bot, so that comp is fine.

Basically, learn the meta(which is what iD described), decide where in that meta you want each of your friends to play, and start picking up and learning champions that fit in your roles.

From there, you can see if you can find combinations of champions that work especially well together and tailor your teamcomps more specifically, but for now, just playing a general meta team will get you the most practice for serious team matches.

Don't try to deviate from the meta too much - it's there for a good reason. However, teams are the best place to try out variations, so if you have something you think will work, it's alot better to try it with your premade team then in solo queue.

Good luck.

you know Azubu Blaze runs 2-1-2 right? they forgo having a dedicated jungler to have romaing top and mid, and they let the blue buff go onto mid early game as opposed to their ap having to wait for the second (or 3rd) blue buff. It lets them push towers really hard.
Just like EU brought jungling into the NA meta, it seems like Korea is going to push it out again at worlds
