ditto. Just re-downloaded the program for another laptop, and when I tried to log in the game, it just says I typed in the wrong name-password combo :/ And I tried to log into the forum and I got in just fine...

Me too. For three days now.

The link the specialist posted was just a search link, so I searched a whole bunch of different varieties of the keywords he/she had in the url and nothing comes up on the support site. There's nothing on the topic. So frustrating! Why don't they make sure an update works before they send it out, there's always problems.

First thing, there are no perfect/bug free systems everything has errors because its made by humans. If you really want to complain about a free service have prolems then you do not understand what free-to-play means.

Second try un-installing all LoL files and pando media Booster.
Clean your registry with CCleaner
restart your cpu and try again.

(Running a desktop on XP SP3)

I'm getting the "invalid username/password combo" error. I've completely uninstalled and re-installed the game. I removed my antivirus temporarily, adjusted the default browser a couple times, cleaned out all temp files, deleted the LoL AppData folder, and spent an hour trying to log in over and over again (I had seen it mentioned that re-typing the username/password a few times might fix it). I've created multiple new accounts, all of which are denied access by the same error. The problem is unique to my desktop, as my laptop logs in with any account just fine.

So far none of the suggestions I've come across have worked. I'm also not seeing much if any of a response from Riot. :-(

Anyone come across anything new to try?

i am having the same problem but when i try to log in it says client version 1.36.18 is rejected by server
