You realize that if Riot did actually do this, people would use it as an excuse to perpetuate outdated racism, right?

Unless of course you yourself are doing it for that purpose, which is even dumber.

Well, considering I live in Oregon, your statement is incorrect.

The only people who can make black people champ are black people.

As a good doctor King once said, "A people's chance for change begins with a people's determination to make that change", and that truism still holds today.

It has been too long that the African ethnicity has lacked representation in League of Legends. It has been too long that the African ethnicity has lingered in the shadows of voidlings, mutant rats, and blue midgets. It's time to take the rightful spot among the pantheon, and that time is now.

I want you to walk with me, brethren. I want you to march with me to Demacia, and I want you to march proud. Imagine - a million of us - marching across the avenue of our nation in solidarity. We are champs, my brothers! We have always been champs. And one day, perhaps tomorrow, the entire world will KNOW with conviction and sureness that we, indeed, are all champions.

And how does that relate to that in a game that has a Ice spell casting bird, Ryze .. i dunno even what he is .. never seen anyone blue walking around.

That we need to have something from RL portraited ?

No .. again Race / relgion and the like does not belong in games!.
