Why is Shen the ninja, a TANK?
This actually, is explained in his lore.

Shen was trained to be completely devoid of emotion. Everything from enduring extreme physical pain, to psychological torture all for the title Eye of Twilight. He is unable to feel pain, and he only knows the steps of Balance, as dictated by Ionian Law.

How come Karthus can't cast Requiem all the time?

Karthus is not evil, but he is supposed to fully sing the song when the time is right. It's what he does. So he can't sing all the time or else he would lose his job and immortality.

Why do boots increase movement speed of champions who can't use them, like Janna or Hecarim?

In the fields of justice a champion does not need to wear or use an item to gain its effects , just by the act of holding it the item will give his powers to the champion who holds it , this also explains why caitilyn still does more damage when holding an IE even if she's not using the sword.

The dragon is a construct controlled by an intermideate summoner not a real dragon. It is part of the training to become a full summoner controlling a champion. The order is minion jungle monster then dragon of baron and there are very strict rules that must be followed to prove your worth and ability to follow the summoner's code.

How can there be two of the same champ in the same game but not the same side?

Well...

Summoner's Rift and the other Battlegrounds have a high density of magic. Because of this, it is easier for summoner magic to exist there. Summoners create semi-clones of the champion, which keep some personality (taunts, jokes) but not all of it. Extreme hatred or other quirks will survive the cloning process.

Why do champions deal the same and do the same damage even if they are wounded?

The reason that champions always deal the same amount of damage and never suffer battle fatigue is because it is not their true body. Their true body is stored in the nexus. The summoned body containing the champions memories personality and abilites has the normal limitations of the body removed by the magic and because the summoner is controlling the body it dosen't feel the body's pain and can push it to use it's full ability even at the verge of death.

Why can't four summoners and I have a team of 5 Leona's fight the enemy.

As leafblaze stated , summoners may create clones of the champions ,but that doesn't mean they are able to do it at such an extent , an attempt to create 5 leona's would drain the power of the iron solari at the point of putting her life at risk , and of course the league would never allow that.

However there's another theory going arround the institute of war , saying that such an amount of CC would annoy summoners so much that they may lose control of their powers and end up destroying half valoran and thats why the council doesn't allow it .This is only a rumor though

Kennen when using Lightning Rush actually becomes a formless mass of pure energy. Unlike physical beings, beings of pure energy experience other energies as though they are solid objects. Because of that, Kennen does not get shocked by Xerath's ultimate, rather he is being pummeled to the ground by it. To Kennen in his lightning form, each hit from Xerath's feel like a fist smashing down onto him.

Patches are a type of bandage that the summoners put on the champs to either increase or decrease their performance respectivly. They do this to keep things interesting for the spectators.

That old shopkeeper is actually part of a race of pink humanoid pigs that have been warring with the Yordle. Realizing that the shopkeeper was secretly funneling the gold he earned to his own race's war efforts, a group of Yordle manhunters were dispatched to slay him one night. The leader of the group grabbed all of the shopkeeper's possession and decided to run the shop in his place, funding his own faction with the gold he now earns.
