His initial hit jumped from 0.14 AP ratio to 0.4! Rest of poison ticks was reduced from 0.14 to .1
This hugely increases the power of his autoattacks and makes malady/nashers a lot more tempting. (or wits end) in addition to deathcap, etc.
He wont be doing Kog style onhit damage, but being able to boost his shrooms/dart, AND having a powerful autoattack provides a good motivation for getting in some extra AS.
It's only really a huge buff if you're getting a meaningful amount of AP on him in the first place.
So like, it's nice if you have a rageblade, but a malady won't make much difference.
