Do you guys use DPS (Damage per second)? What's to indicate a fast attacking dude.

DPS is used alot, but isn't really the right term.
There's term like Carry, assassin, ganker, etc.

Yeah... I read that. It's kinda helpful, but I feel like it's unorganized, incomplete and a bit off the cuff. So I'd rather ask directly. No offense to the creator... it looks like there was quite a bit of time spent on it.

I know of the Tank, Assassan, Carry, Mage and all that.

However, to describe a Champion build where you focus on items which bring faster attacks, I would just say a "DPS Build". Example: An Attack Damage Soraka is AD Soraka. But a DPS Udyr...? Correctly described or is there something else?

DPS is fine. Usually refers to auto attack champions, sustained damage. Pantheon is a burst physical caster, so I would not call him DPS. Ashe/Yi/Tryn are auto attack champions, so they can be called DPS.

If you are strictly speaking of only attack speed items, AS is what you want. For example, an AS build for Twisted Fate to complement his stacked deck. While for Ashe, you'd say DPS build, or AD build.
