How is the xp/ip rewards based at the end of each game? Like what earns you more xp\ip in a game? Also why do people complain about ks'ing if it's a team effort game.. You still get gold\experience from the assist so what is the problem?

Time taken to finish a game, game mode, whether you won or lost.
Your stats really don't make a difference at all when calculating this.

People complain about ks'ing because stat padding. They want to be the one with stupidly high kills because it looks good on their screen. It really doesn't matter who gets the kill later on because it's better that your team secures the kill rather than one person hesitating and therefore the enemy gets away. Only exception to this is that supports should try to hold back if there's no way possible that the enemy could escape, otherwise they should keep attacking.

Assists are good and all, but, for a person playing a carry role, kills mean everything. The gold from an assist is split up among all those who participated and is significantly less then what you would receive for a kill.

Sometimes it's beneficial for certain champions to get a significant amount of kills in order to acquire items that allow them to do most the most damage possible.

Edit: Also, there's a minimum and a maximum amount you can get per game.

You get more for longer games, but that's simply to normalize the IP/minute gained. It's to keep people from getting more or less IP simply because they chose an early or late game comp.
