Pretty sure Plant Mage has been more anticipated since people have thought this has been coming since "Plant King" was known about before he got canceled.

I kind of see it as every champion needs to be a milestone of some kind - just trying to do something we hadn't done before in regards to gameplay, art, lore, or any mixture of them. I'll talk more about a couple of the big issues (monsters, why 3 masculine-style males so close) in a future post, but for this I wanna focus on the specific "champ 100 thing." I feel if there was something more special we could have done here, why aren't we doing that for every champion?

I actually did a quick interview for a cool little video that takes a look back at our first 100 champions...it shows some of the process we use and a bit of revealing the man behind the curtain. I think that goes live next week.

So, I probably shouldn't do this, but what the Hell. I'm really stoked about champion 101 too because I got to work much much more directly on it than I usually do and it's an archetype I think we've needed. I'll....plant a little teaser for you.

I hovered over the file itself. Is her name Zyra, or is that just the artist or what? Just something you typed? I thought it was Xera.

Also, oh my gosh, she's really pretty, and she's a redhead.

First off, I want to say the interviews sound really freaking cool. I can't wait to see them and the ideas/people/passsion behind the champs.

I also wanted to chime in on the idea of 100th champ being a special release. It doesn't have to be a mechanic or an ability that makes this champ the super special # 100, but maybe an art theme or an inside joke. Maybe Urf's Ghost or Jesse Perring (ok those are probably never going to happen, but it illustrates my point) could be the idea that made # 100 special. Not the mechanic.

Think Lee Sin release.

That's bull**** from riot, people get nervous and complain about something.
So, how can we make people forget what happened? LETS SHOW THEM "AWESOME" STUFF
So people get anxious about this new ****ty hero, and it's an inifity cycle, we complain they do absolutely nothing and just show us more problems, revealing this kind of stuff to try to make people happy and forget about just happened, evnetually and hopefully they will go down.

Ivy honest with you. I don't know if I have the thyme to learn more than one new champion. Was thinking I'd be vine with learning Jayce, but after seeding this champion I weed myself just a little bit. Gonna need to clear my schedule here pretty prune I guess, cause this champion is, awe screw the puns, she looks great!!!
