You're not expected to win, you just have to prove yourself.

The second is an obstacle course. I don't think I'm allowed to tell you everything in it, but it's basically a huge culmination of all the basic training exercises. The whole thing has standards for completing each component, and the whole thing is timed. And for that one, either your whole class graduates, or none of you do.

Why do you ask? Are you interested in joining the Demacian military? We'd be happy to have you!

In all honesty, I would sooner cut off my right arm than join the Demacian military. I was born a Rakkor, and I shall die a Rakkor. I am asking out of curiosity, I wish to compare the training I have experienced to that of other city states.

My line of work is looked down upon, most ,do not understand the importance of our work.
But my methods could be the real problem. I specialise in important messages, messages of military value. the ones which might require tactically removing a alert guard at some range, although I tend to attempt to knock them out with blunts, rather than kill them. After all, the guard's commander may be the person I'm going to be serving next. but that was before the League's control tightened, nowadays there's no real need for that anymore.

I wonder, have you ever been on the roofs? maybe sat down on them and gazed up for a while. I tend to do that every now and then when I'm on downtime. I am afraid I know the answer, but how do you think of combustion weaponry? I know of your reputation, have you witessed court trials? Perhaps assisted, or performed yourself, revelations of the mind?

Well, I'm sure they'd let you observe some basic training, if you came to Demacia.

Just... try to wear pants, or something. Demacians happily get dirty, but we try not to show up that way!

...killing someone related to who you're working for to would certainly be problematic! I should hope you did everything in your power to avoid that. But really, any death at all should be avoided...

I love going up on the rooftops. If it's a really bright day, it's such a great view, looking down on the city, seeing everything lit right up. It's beautiful~.

There's no weapon I 'like'. We should have a need for them. But as much as I love Shyvana, fire is just one of the worst things you can use. There's no escaping it, there's nothing you can do. It's a horrible way to die...

I've never been involved in a trial, and I've never witnessed one in person. Court proceedings are not a spectacle. They are a serious matter in which all efforts should be taken to ensure it is impartial, fair, and just. Even an assembly's mutterings and reactions could sway a judge. That cannot be risked.

I might visit simply to observe some day, when I have the time, and when the guards do not suffer a heart attack from thinking that I have come to wage war against them.

As for how I clothe myself, if someone objects, it is not my problem. At least I have the decency to wear something.

I do not work for someoe, I work for payment. there are advantages to shifting employers after missions, including the things it teaches you.

Sometimes I watch the stars and get the creepy feeling that the particular day, dieing is even worse than on other days. as I call it, a bad day for dieing.

Edit: Sentece incomplete, fix'd

Clarification: Combustion weaponny is a euphenism for firearms. People call them dishonorable, I have to live with that. given time, people will accept it as a weapon.

Shame. I thought mages were employed to effectively find out if one was truely innocent. Ambassador Poppy mentioned such a thing.

I always assumed couriers had no long term employers. You just delivered whatever to whoever. Nations have official messengers, after all.

Oh, firearms. I'm undecided... it IS very dishonorable to just sit two miles away and shoot, but there's a skill to that which I know most people don't possess. I don't know...

Oh, yes, there are mages like that. But I'm not one of those mages.

Evelynn briefly changes back into herself. "Udyr? No... I think I can do better."

Evelynn reaches into her back pocket and takes out a photograph. She holds it up for Lux to see.

"I found this in your dining room. I'm not sure who he is, but he's a cutie. Would you like a more personal meeting?"
