Turret nuking characters?

  • Who do you recommend for turret nuking, Why?
  • I don't play talon very well, but whenever I have him on my team, the turrets fall like a fatty on ice. Is there any reason why he always seemed to take 'em down so quickly?
  • who are all those that you would even consider for turret nuking builds? are any of them crappy at roles other than turretnuking?

P.S. I coulda slipped a Dos Equis meme in there now that I think about it :/

You do not want to be able to take down turrets quickly. In fact, you want them to stay up until you have proper farm.

If you knock down a turret before 15 minutes into the game, then the minion waves will naturally push to the enemy side of the map, making it hard for you to farm, but easy for your enemy to farm.

If you give your lane about 20 minutes, then you can look around, see if people need help, and if they do then you knock your tower down. By then, you should have the damage out put to do it with a successful jungle gank and a small shove. This allows you to roam the map, but it keeps your enemy laner in lane.

A nice strategy to use late game is what's called a split push. The idea is that a person deviates from the main group and pushes one lane very hard. This accomplishes one of two things.
1) It will allow you to take a lane all the way to the enemy inhibitor.
2) It will keep a person in that lane to stop it from reaching the inhibitor.

Usually the second option occurs more than the first, which is exactly what you want. By having an enemy visibly (to your team) in a lane, you know that at max the enemy will have a 4 person group. This means you can force a 4v5 team fight, which is beneficial to you late game.

Champions who excel at the split push are Master Yi, Shaco (because he does poorly in late game team fights), Darius, and any other champions that has an aoe. fast attack speed, or wriggles.

Extreme pushers like Heimerdinger, Long range AD carries like Tristana, Caitlyn, and Kog'Maw, or people who abuse lich bane like Twisted Fate

The reason Talon chunks turrets is because of his Q and how hard it hits. Champions with AS/AD steroids typically do very well at this as well (Like Yi and Trist, as well as champs like Fiora and Wukong) and champions who build Lich Bane.

if you want a turret nuking champion, Nasus is your man, spam Q on minions till you have like 450 on Q and a trinity force then you can go to the turret Q->AAx3->Q->AAx3 and that should take the turret down and if not, another Q will do it.

Are you still not satisfied? then do AP nasus spam your Q farm and get rabadons+lich bane Q->AAx3->Q will take down a turret lol.

Yeah pretty much any champion that has a scaling, on-hit autoattack reset, or with an autoattack AD/AS buff is great for turret killing, especially ones with a low cooldown. A few examples were already given, such as Nasus, Shaco, Yi, and Talon, but a few others are Garen, LeeSin, Udyr, Xin Xhao, Shyvanna, Sion, or Graves. Ranged AD carries natually are decent as well, solely due to them usually stacking AD/AS items, but most of their kits aren't specifically designed for turret smasing.

On a side note, man I miss Singed's old ultimate...

Don't forget, if you want some massive turret damage, there's always Rammus.

Using a sheen or triforce on Talon further increases the damage from his Q. it's not unheard of for a nasus or talon to take 1/5 of a turrets max HP in one hit.

blitz with more ad items and a sheen will drop a turret really quick
