We know you’re playing under bad pings and suffering from peak-hour patch-time and that’s not cool. We’ve been investigating the issue for quite awhile already. I personally visited Sydney a few months ago and had a chance to talk to a lot of people in the industry and got some insight into the problem.

Our research is still ongoing, but we’re learning a lot and making progress evaluating various solutions. We’re dedicated to improving your Leagueof Legends experience, so please accept our apology for the delay.

All the research in the world won't change the fact it's too expensive for companies to host servers in our country. It's a sad fact.

Turkey stands with Australia in getting them a server to taste the sweet sweet 20 ping.

This has created a bond of mutual respect, admiration and friendship. The historical bond between the two countries constitutes a strong foundation to further strengthen and deepen their relations in every fields. The warm sentiments between Turkish and Australian nations were best voiced in the message of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, which was sent to the Australian and New Zealander mothers in 1934 and is as follows: "Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives… you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets where they lie side by side here in this country of ours… You the mothers who sent their sons from far away countries, wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. Having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well."[1]

The reason there are no dedicated servers is because Telstra won't pull their finger out and invest in infrastructure. Same reason there are no WOW serves here. We don't have the infrastructure to support them. As long as Telstra has this country by the balls and we will all be the victims of sub-par, expensive and unreliable internet.
