Abilities

- Passive - Living Furnace
- Rha'Kel's spells and autoattacks sear enemies hit with incredible heat, dealing 9 (+2 per level) (+10% AP) magic damage per second over four seconds. Enemies that come into contact with Rha'Kel, either through melee attacks or attempting to pass by him too close (Getting within his collision radius) are also burned. The burning doesn't stack, but repeated application resets the timer.

- Q - Flame Bellow
- Active - Rha'Kel unleashes a blast of flame in front of him, dealing 100/155/210/265/320 (+80% AP) magic damage to enemies in a line, with damage decreasing by up to 50% the further away they are.
- Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 mana
- Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds
- Range: 1000

- W - Burrow
- Active - Rha'Kel burrows underground, becoming untargetable for 3 seconds and increasing his move speed by 20/25/30/35/40%. While burrowed, Rha'Kel can activate Burrow again to burst forth from the ground, dashing a short distance then bursting from the surface, dealing 80/125/175/210/255 (+50% AP)(+80% bonus AD) physical damage to enemies above him and knocking them up for 0.75 seconds
- Cost: 75 mana
- Cooldown: 24/22/20/18/16 seconds
- Dash Range: 350
- Radius: 300

- E - Smelting Bite
- Active - Rha'Kel's next autoattack is a bite which rends the target's armor, dealing bonus physical damage equal to 25/35/45/55/65% of his total AD, as well as reducing the target's armor by 15/20/25/30/35% and slowing them by 25% for 3 seconds.
- Cost: 55/60/65/70/75 mana
- Cooldown: 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds

- Ultimate - Nether Flames
- Toggle - Rha'Kel drastically overheats his body, increasing his AP by 20/25/30% and dealing 35/50/65 (+20% AP) magic damage per second to enemies around him (in addition to the damage from his passive.) Nether Flames takes more mana to sustain the longer it's active.
- Cost: 30 (+5 per consecutive second) mana per second
- Cooldown: 8 seconds
- Radius: 350

Lore

In the alien hellscape of the Void, some things remain common to the mortal world. Fire is one such thing. Fire burns just as hot in the Abyss, and it is from this fire that Rha'Kel was born. Climbing from an active volcano in the alien world, Rha'Kel is ancient and powerful, having witnessed Rune Wars of ages past. His mind is as twisted and labyrinthine as the world he comes from, and his motivations are uncertain, even to his kin.

His motivations are so uncertain, in fact, that he's been seen actively working against the Void Prophet Malzahar, using his own potent magics to undo the prophet's summoning rituals from the other side, preventing more void creatures from spilling forth onto the landscape. Though his reasoning's are unknown, he doesn't seem to actively be an ally on the side of Valoran, however, as evidenced by the damage he caused when finally summoned to the continent. Though eventually contained, Rha'Kel rages against his prison, the fires from his belly turning the stones and metal red hot, even through the wards placed on him. Summoners let him lose onto the Fields of Justice to pacify him, though it may be doing more harm than good as the behemoth builds his strength.

I will repeat that this champ sounds epic but with the lore it sounds like he could've possibly teamed up with kassadin because they both are trying to stop malzahr. Kassadin doesn't want the void to be unleashed upon runeterra and it sounds like Rha'Kel wants the creatures of the void to just life their lives.

Great champion as usual 5. Everything seems fine, although the damage on the ult seems a little low for an active. Maybe make it a passive instead?

Remember, the damage from his ult stacks with the damage from his passive.

The duration on burrow is way too long, especially with the movespeed increase. Vladimir's pool is similar but lasts only 2 seconds (yes, he steals life while using it, but he doesn't cause knockup and the lesser damage does not justify that much duration). I wouldn't have this ability last longer than 3 seconds at max level.

Smelting Bite is too weak. Rha'Kel appears to be an AP champion from your abilities, so the meager AD ratio is almost meaningless. In addition, he doesn't care very much what their armor is (his only notable ability that cares about armor is burrow).

Rha'Kel is designed to be a tanky mage. The armor reduction from smelting bite is meant to be more of a support ability. Hit an enemy with it, then the tank he's teamed up with deals extra damage and can chase him down easier.

Burrow is long, but to be honest, because of how untargetable works it makes it awkward to design. I wanted to make it vulnerable to ground based attacks, but seeing as, well, that's not exactly an attribute of any attack because as of yet it isn't really relevant...

Probably going to lower the duration to 3 across all levels and just have the movement speed bonus increase. I want it to be a potent gap closer, Rha'Kel needs to be close range to be effective.
