Yup. The rationale is that his clear speed was way too fast with that. I think the logic is that since you build him glass cannon anyway, his clear speed is very fast at level 5/6 and having it be super fast at those early levels would have been too much. Buffing highlander is actually a pretty good buff though. Ive always thought rank 1 highlander was a little bit underwhelming, the extra 2 seconds will be really nice. Won't make him viable but I don't know anyone who plays Yi to win ranked so who cares.

300dmg with a 20% chance to do 300 damage on 3 other target each 10 second = way to fast?

If they want to make MYi consistent, at least in the Jungle, just remove the percent chance on Alpha and replace it with smaller but guaranteed bonus damage to creeps. .

There was nothing wrong with his Ult at all, in consistency or otherwise.

I find the main issue with yi is his ult, its a hit or miss, if you dont get a kill/assist with your ult you can do anything really for another 70ish seconds which for a jungler is really bad
