Please explain to me why we cant get a loss forgiven when the person was not there the entire time. Got a random champ, disconnected and we almost won too, thats sad.

Please, why isnt there a system in place to properly deal with these things and prevent us from losing ELO unnecessarily? It is very unfair and the thing is it doesnt happen once in a while, it happens very often and its frustrating.

Can you all actually give a **** for once? Please....

think about it youm losing a person and them losing a person are = odds it balances itself out the mroe elo games you play the more chance of being in your right elo. it is the same as having that annie mid going 15/3 and your mid jsut getting destroyed you do not get a loss forgiven because they are not up to skill. what is the diferance between someone underskilled and someone leaving? should they both be loss forgivens? personaly no thats how elo is and everyone has to face it but in the end thew high elo players are the best ones and have to fight past all of this.

An afk can be detected 100% of the time with perfect accuracy. Unskilled payers are bad luck, and it sucks for you, but should not be loss forgiven because you do not know if their opponent was simply that much better. Afks are an almost guaranteed loss too, and much more frustrating.

Because it could be too easily abused.

"Oh no! We're losing! Someone leave so I don't lose elo!"

Every game.

Its still ridiculous. Ppl like this keep me from gaining elo. Always have afk's or leavers and feeders or the usual mess. Its frustrating.

Wow you are extremely unintelligent. In the end, yes the more games you play eventually you will be placed in the approximate correct elo to match your skill level. But with this current system, it is discouraging and VERY time consuming.

"it is the same as having that annie mid going 15/3 and your mid jsut getting destroyed you do not get a loss forgiven because they are not up to skill"

Honestly, you really compare having a 4v5 to someone being more skilled and call it the same situation? Let's say skill = elo, in a proper system, the person that has 15/3 is going to raise in elo from that, and the mid who made your team lose the game, would lose elo. Over several games of this terrible mid player losing games with consistancy due to lack of skill they would be placed in lower elo, and the rest of the original teams would have a few wins instead of all loses, resulting in them moving on to higher elo dispite that one player.

You claim that there shouldn't be a loss forgiven for a team that didn't even have a player to go to mid, and that this is the same situation. Teams missing a player should lose less elo on loss not completely forgiven. The player that left should lose the standard amount and receive a warning. Also, a purposeful disconnection would be very easily identifiable, if a player were to abuse it the enemy team could just report them saying they purposefully disconnected to save their team some elo, well that person could get an elo penalty of lets say 50 taken right off for attempting that. In addition, there should be a quite long timer of how long the person would have to be disconnected prior to the ending of the game to allow for reduced elo lost upon a lost game for the remaining members of the team.
