Critics of Demacia grossly exaggerate what they dislike. If you are honest, work hard in your chosen profession, and abide by a moral code that is very easy to live by, you will find life in Demacia to be one of many friends, colleagues, and one where you can trust anyone. Yes, we may punish criminals more harshly than other citystates, but the people who claim we behead for jaywalking are free to remove themselves from the gene pool. Our legal system is just and fair, and always considers the circumstances and testimony of the accused, no matter the crime.

I wonder what Sion would have to say about that "everyone gets a fair trial and testimony" bit.

War prisoners are executed or ransomed. A member of the Noxian High Command such as yourself should know these things. And had you any capacity for tactical thought you would realize releasing a person such as Sion back to his city would have been a disastrous blunder.

So everyone gets a fair trial and testimony... so long as it doesn't inconvenience the city-state.

Citizens and lawful residents of Demacia receive a fair trial.

War criminals receive no such benefits or rights.

Without a trial, who defines them as "war criminal?"

The military does, obviously. Or does Noxus treat its its citizens and soldiers equally the same? Do you even consider your subjects equal before the law? A rhetorical question, yes, but for a nation that subjects its prisoners to years of horrific and humiliating torture without so much as a semblance of judgment by an impartial tribune, it's laughable that you think you have any authority to speak on these issues, Noxian.
