This is becoming a larger problem every day, it's turning the community into elitist scum (even those who really have no business being elitist) I've been playing with a wide variety of players recently and every single one seems to care more about their ELO than actually playing the game.

This is affecting people ranging from1200 ELO all the way to the top ELO players.

It's a game, don't play OP champs if you take no pleasure in doing so, have some fun.

At least until ranked comes out

No, but it is only human to play a game and want to have fun and win too.

So please don't just pick a poor champ and expect your team to support your choice.

So only pick the most OP champs every chance they are available? Got it.

Having fun? Check

Wanting to win? Check

Defining my skill in a competitive game on a non-competitive mode? Nty.

Its not about support, its about blind opposition.

"until ranked comes out" and "eventually we will have ranked" I LOL'd

riot cares as much about dominion as they do twisted treeline
(that dosent mean i personally dont LOVE dominion)
but cmon... face the facts. normal elo is the only elo we get.
And i blame riot for their system anyways, not the general player base.

And hahaha omg so many lols...
who dosen't play a game to WIN?
yeah...

The game just became so much less fun once I realized I could check my Elo. I always got frustrated when matchmaking stuck me with first-timers or really poor teams, but once I was able to put a numerical value to it, it became that much worse. It's time to forget about Jabebot.

If OP champs provided fun. Then there is your answer.

For the SOLE fact that you cannot counter pick in Blind is a reason to disregard its ELO.

I cannot believe that real competitive players take their normal ranking seriously with this element of the game out.

Counter picking and pick placement in a 5-man makes a monumental difference.

Have you read up on how some have upped their ELO?

I think Sauron had it best:

And blind games were played on his way to the top. So discounting them is foolish.
