The Fleshless Man

Prancing over mortal ground
A man that follows lightning's sound
And from pursuit did he find
Such strength that made him blind

He burned his mind with goals, too far
That he made himself a brutal scar
A bleeding wound, that was to grow
The thirst to seek the power's flow

He had attained a strength so bold
A flesh-bound body could not hold
Then he knew that he was chained
So he stripped his skin from what remained

Out of passion and heightened yearning
From the fruits of greed for learning
His body freed from mortal cage
Did he endure the pangs of time and age

At his command did the mountains move
And at his will he was yet to prove
That he could call the might of skies
To blast down with thunderous cries

Not a drop of blood ran through his veins
Free was he from human banes
What was left was a man of power so pure
But such great blessings do not endure

Magi knew that he had to kneel
Because he had such pride of steel
Cunning and smart, the magi were
Knowing where to aim: His humane err

His body was strong yet his heart was weak
And that was where his power leaked
Though he was fleshless, he was of men
A bitter truth he had, as he had then

He was blinded by such magic
A goal that fated him a story, so tragic
So the magi made a plan
To ruin and defeat the fleshless man

The casket was enchanted and willed
By the magi, who were in magic, just as skilled
To the fleshless man, they went and lied
Brough him to the coffin, and sealed the side

Charmed it was, the Magi said
As they led him inside, where he was good as dead
They told him it would make him stronger
But, as they said, he had to wait much longer

They began to slide the coffin's lid
Chanting a spell, as they did
Soon the man was trapped inside
His power fading, and so too, his mind

They dropped the coffin with the man
Into a river so blue that ran
No one ever knew what was his fate
Until one time, a blade of hate

Eons passed, too old to tell
Civilizations rose and fell
The coffin weakened, though no magi could see
The fleshless man had broken free

And part of his fleshless body
The bits and scraps of folly
The coffin metal to his body had fused
Leaving him weak, power reduced

And so he set foot on the new land
New to the winter snow and desert sand
New to the people that watched him go
New to the towers, high and low

His strength was weak yet he was strong
And he had learned of how he was wrong
He saw himself by the sea's tide and creed
"A fleshless man... what a timeless story of man and greed!"

So he made himself prone to what is just
Salvation he needed, a forceful thrust
He ventured and enrolled in the League
Where he was no longer a man of greed

And in the fields of justice did he dance
Where in his locus, he stood his stance
From his core, a force so frightening
A bolt of pure, arcane lightning

He had gathered a bountiful fames
And so was he known by many names:
Arcane's Might or Arcane's Wrath
or as the Magus Ascendant,
Xerath

I like how this is done, very well written mate! Hm, suggestion...suggestion...I would say either Udyr or Irelia. I think you can use a lot of imagery and metaphors with those two.
