Adobe AIR crashes & Pvp.net Disconnection Issues!

As a college student I have a somewhat unique opportunity to play LoL from multiple locations. When I'm at home LoL runs fine - no disconnects from PvP.net, no Adobe AIR crashes. When I'm at my apartment I get all the problems mentioned here. What confuses me the most is that the internet in my apartment is significantly faster than my internet at home. Other than speed, the only other difference I can think of that would matter is that my apt internet is provided for the entire building.

For the sake of clarity my issues include Adobe AIR Debug crashing at random before trying to join a game, while in champ select, and during games. PvP.net disconnects every 10-30 seconds lasting anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute. Game freezes when trying to make any sort of change (ie entering the in-game store, selecting my profile, selecting champion, selecting runes, selecting masteries, etc). I haven't had any problems once I start loading a game (if I can get that far). I don't have any lag spikes (ping at 80-110) or fps spikes (60 at max detail but shadows turned off).

Can you see if downloading GameBooster helps your Adobe Air issue?

There also might be some problems connecting through the game with your provider or internet itself.

Keyru23, as u can see our games were ok before fiora's patch..
after it, LoL client began to have these errors.. i dont believe this is a problem that will be solved using third programs.. since we never needed to use it..

I just downloaded GameBooster and didn't have any issues. I have only used it for 1 actual game so far, but given that there wasn't a single pvp.net disconnect even though I waited about 10 minutes to see if it would happen I think that GameBooster is a viable solution until the cause can be determined.

Selarek, for me all these Adobe Air problems have been happening since mid August of 2011, so well before the Fiora patch. The problem doesn't seem to be from a particular patch but rather from a conflict that Adobe Air is having with a common Windows background process.

I'm experiencing similar problems, all with the recent patch, I doubt all our internet providers are giving us issues at the same time, coincidentally after we patched. I'll try gamebooster 3.

GameBooster solves the probem for me, too, but it is not a permanent solution for me to rely on other programs for playing games.

Even if some people had that problem before the patch, we can say that this patch increased the number of incidents, and it is very unlikely that such a problem will occur through the providers or through firewall problems, right at the same time LOL gets patched.

There is probably some type of background application running that is causing your game to not run properly.

Quote:
Game Booster v3 can easily and fast close background processes and unnecessary Windows services, to speed up your game playing and avoid possible conflicts and incompatibility. With the innovative "Enhanced 3rd parties' services detection" technology, Game Booster v3 can automatically detect and close more unnecessary background services.

Possibly, but it still worked before the patch and now it doesn't work anymore. So something changed in lol that causes this conflict with another process.

If your solution to fix the game is to use a different program, that's sad.

I have problems after Fiora patch aswell, when I'm not playing LoL, my internet works fine, 0 connection problems etc. When I'm starting the game, I'm getting freezes at least once per match + my whole network breaks down. Web pages can't load, web communicators don't work and can't reconnect to game for about minute or even more. Lost few matches because of this -.-. I have no problems with Adobe AIR but my friend has. Champ selection screen doesn't appear to her and she gets random champion or something, so someone has to leave and get time penalty.
