-The Black market-
The Black market is the go to location for anything illegal. Under the table bribes, drug trafficking, banned weapons, and stolen artifacts. You name it you can buy it. Created by the thieves guild as a way of selling the stuff they steal Clepta has since grown out the Market to include everything a devilish rouge could need, or sell. The only thing the Guild refuses to be involved in is assassinations and human trafficking. Everything else is fair game on the black market:

Locations:
((I am constantly updating this OP so pay attention or else you could miss them.))
Main
A warehouse on the outskirts of an unspecified city (The location changes as the guild moves around, never staying in one spot for too long) Because there has been some confusion i'll try and make the rules on gaining entry more clear:

Gaining Entry-
-Any OC with an affiliation to crime, is automatically informed of the location of the black market. This means if your OC belongs in the underground society, they already know where it is, always.

-Normal OC's and characters, have to be told about or lead to the location. It is acceptable to simply make up a story on how you know where it is, or how you found it.

-Any character associated to the law cant make their way anywhere near the building without it changing location, UNLESS invited by a member of the Guild. So people of justice cant just barge in and arrest everybody. As long as nobody starts getting arrested i don't really mind, this rule was more created for characters and OC's who do nothing but arrest people *Cough* Caitlyn *Cough*

The Black Market-
The main reason people will come to this warehouse on the outskirts. All of the shopkeepers are hardened criminals, who have decided to run stalls in the Black Market . They are perfectly capable of self defense and several are trained in the mystical arts (Why run an illegal spell shop without knowing magic) If a raid ever does occur there are multiple secret exits, to escape from.

The Thieves Guild-
A large tent that is set up at the back of the warehouse, serves as the headquarters of C and his infamous thieves guild. Here members will plot thefts, and hatch up other rouge-ish schemes. Letters will arrive here after going through a long process involving runners, being hidden in sold goods to certain individuals and carrier animals, in order to avoid being traced. On a completely unrelated note Clepta has Quinn's autograph on the wall.Inside the tent there is a large richly carved mahogany desk, with several chairs to sit on and a couch on either side of the room.Everything looks expensive. At the back there is a closed flap, which leads on further into the tent.

The Ring-
Located in the center of the market this is essentially where disputes are settled - off the record. Forcing a surrender or drawing blood constitutes a win. Betting on matches is generally commonplace, however be wary as not all of the bookies are backed by the guild, and so some may not be honest enough to give you your winnings.

The Wheelbarrow:
Pretty much the only shop where nothing is stolen. A nice pub/restaurant run by a former thief who decided to settle down, sort of. Heartwarming, really. Visitors of the market, should feel free to stop by, have a drink, or just hang out. Also the location of many a gambling game and visitors to the market should feel free to drop into one whenever they want.

Quote:
Games:
-Dare-devil:
You roll two dice. One die has numbers, and whatever you roll, you bet that amount of money, ranging from 10g, 25g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 300g. The other die, has letters, representing on what you have to do. S, to steal something from someone in the Market. F, to flirt with a member of the opposite *** somewhere in the Market. N, to do nothing, (Instant win). D, to drink a very strong alcoholic beverage. C, convince someone in the Market to give you a gold piece. And lastly, M, for murder (Instant Loss). Complete the bet and everyone participating has pay you the amount rolled on the die.
Contracts Board-
You want something so very badly. The only problem is that it belongs to someone else. Post requests for items to be stolen and if your lucky (Or the pay is good enough) Someone will take up the job for you. Really they don't have to be thefts they could be requests for anything. ((Anyone is free to attempt the jobs here, however the jobs should be carried out in the assigned Day in _____ threads.

Due to certain events i'm going to post some tips here:
1: Limit the scale of the trouble you cause to something your OC can handle. The importance of the job, the location of the theft, ect, are all left up to you so try not to go overboard.

2: Its generally good practice to wait a day before completing the job, this gives other people in the thread time to react and avoids strange mix ups in the timeline.

3: If you don't want to interact with someone or you've already escaped, politely say so. You are not obligated to cause timeline mix ups that may result in the job not being finished.))

Quote:
Current Contacts:

Job: Steal a specific painting from the Demacian Gallery
Location: Demacia
Object: The Knight and the Swan, a fairly new addition to the gallery
Difficulty: Medium
Deliver to: Syadell (Npc just come back to the board to turn in)
Reward: Medium

Job: Partner needed.
Location: Outskirts of Piltover.
Object(ive): planning a raid
Difficulty: High
Client: Jinx
Reward: Medium to high. Depends how it goes.
-Combat-
Disputes are common in the black market, however sometimes people refuse to accept a loss in The Ring, or are just causing a disruption. These people will go through several different threat levels with increasing difficulty until they either stop, or are removed from the premises.

First - There are bouncers, and thugs all over the place, make a scene and they'll politely ask you to calm down, before kindly escort you off premises. By which i mean they'll threaten to pound your face in and dump your body on the street.

Second - If you take out the bouncers be prepared for retaliation from the crowds of shoppers and possibly a member of the guild. (Someone beats the Guards, everyone has permission to beat them)

Third - If people are god modding Clepta puts out the lights, engulfing the area in shadows. The offending person will have all magic and movement restricted. Before being teleported naked into the middle of a random city state. (They are then blacklisted from the market - Never allowed to return again)

((cool man, anyways umm, know how I get a contact by the way/))

http://summoners.shurelia.com/profiles/4274

There he be, walking through to the underground where all hunters, thieves, or anyone of crime goes. This is like a home, a great one at that. Jack currently had his crossbow on his back, walking through and having his hat tipped down. He needed some gold for a new upgraded feature to his crossbow from a...trusty ole seller. If he was going to get pay, it was going to be here. He looked around and saw some job offers.

A droid chip, or a demacian art thing. Sure he inhabited the body, taking lesser damage, but it didn't mean it still didn't hurt. This disgusting shell sucked, then again living here was pretty worth it. He read each one and ripped off the contact of the piltover one. Sounds easy enough, sure art would be a bit harder, but he wanted something...easy. He needed this fast.

((Sooo, what do I do now?))

((If you're taking a Job you go to the assigned area thread (In this case you would go to the a day in Piltover thread) and write up a short story detailing your theft. If you want some examples i would recommend following the link at the bottom of the post and reading through some of the thefts that people have done. Basically you go to the thread come up with how you stole the item in question and then come back here with a link to your post))

(( http://summoners.shurelia.com/profiles/739 upon close observation, it would be easy to see that he isnt human. Nothing normal))

Jake followed the directions he had written, a few packages tied to his armor and the inside of the cloak. He walked into the Black Market, knowing enough to know who the shop keepers were, but not who to talk to to. He approached one of them, untying and pulling a small bundle from his belt. "Hello, good sir." Might as well be cordial. "I'm looking for a buyer for something rare." He uncovered the object in the cloth, revealing a bright glow from within from its contents, a fist sized chunk of Nexus crystal. Magic could be felt in the air, like a slight, pleasant tingle on his and Jake's skin. He covered it once more. "Am I speaking to the right man, or should I go elsewhere?"

((would you be the one to respond? Or should I just talk to myself? ))

((Hey nick, has bob been transformed yet or not? Or are you going to do it at ashe's thread?)0

Jack arrived back, holding his chip in hand and looking around. He saw a man chuckling at him, until he raised his bow. He walked through towards the boards, handing in his chip and waiting for his reward. He had many wounds, but it didn't cause much damage, just a loss of speed until he healed them in a week. "Id like my reward..." He said, placing the contact onto the board for more sense. His side would be bleeding, but he didn't seem to notice. The body he has is so strong with him in it, but really if he left it would instantly die.

((I really hope this was right, or im going to make a HUGE edit.))

((I would generally be the one controlling npc's unless you have a specific scenario in mind. Anyway i'll write up a proper response to any traffic tomorrow. Peace.))

((I think it would be yes, but would Jinx just be turned away at the door? So to speak I mean. She is a criminal, but she's unpredictable and dangerous to all.))

Ares was wandering through the woods when he stumbled upon a young man being robbed by a band of thieves, he quickly intervenes not because hes nice but because it seemed fun at the time. With a swift flick of his tail the thieves are decapitated their heads rolling softly in the grass, Ares then smiles at the frightened human and walks closer to him the man too petrified to run. Ares takes his finger and licks it with his long forked tongue coating it in thick black goo he then quickly pricks the man in the neck with his claw making the man into a thrall for a little while, the mans eyes turn completely black and a dimwitted smile appears on his face "Now take me to where you came from it seems quite fun!" Ares says as the man leads him to the Black Market

Black Market

Ares gaily skips through the entrance of the black market most likely attracting more than a few stares although he wont notice being entranced by all the shiny things within, the thrall venom wears off and the man collapses weak but alive and with no memory of having met Ares. He wanders about the market looking for anything to interest him until he arrives at a stall selling all sorts of sharp and shiny things ((throwing stars)) His amber eyes turn to the man/woman running the stall with a mischievous gleam "How much for the shinies?"

Jinx, armed with her trademark bunny-eared Pow-Pow minigun and shark-looking Fishbones rocket launcher, strolled toward the black market with a bright, happy smile on her face as she spun the long, blue braid of her right pig-tail. She was looking forward to getting a few things with money given to her by a certain summoner.

She wore no disguise to enter, and she knew there would be no need for such. This market in particular always managed to keep her interest; the only sure way to prevent her from blowing up anything and/or causing extreme property damage. If they didn't want to let her in however... well, she had ways of turning a dull day into a fun one.

When she reached the entrance, she waved to the bouncers and smiled broadly. "Hey Big Macs! Parts and tech vendors here? What about the gunsmith? The mechanics and weapons experts?" She shouted as she approached.
