Kismet, the Psi Chick
Ranged Arcane Support

Theme: Advanced Information, Probability Manipulation

Attack Animation: Kismet touches her forehead with her middle and index finger. An astral projection (transparent image) of her then rushes towards the target, passing through units. Upon reaching the target, the image attacks once before fading out. The image acts as Kismet's attack projectile.

Appearance: Beautiful bald chick with eyes similar to those of Hinata/Neji of Naruto.

Quote:
Speed of Thought (Passive)
To do something, Kismet just has to think of it and it will be done. To attack, Kismet just has to think of attacking. Kismet's attacks have no swing duration, enabling her to move immediately after attacking.

- This gives Kismet great mobility and can be used for attack-chasing or attack-dancing around an enemy while dodging projectiles.

Quote:
Precognition
Kismet possesses the ability to predict future events.

(Passive): Kismet can foresee when chance-based effects will trigger. Examples of chance-based effects are Critical, Dodge, and the slowing effect of Phage.

- Whenever a unit is selected, all of its chance-based effects that will proc are listed in the HUD. Same goes with Kismet's chance-based effects.

(Active): For 5/7/9/11/13 seconds, Kismet continuously predicts the next actions of nearby champions and gains knowledge of the status of their abilities and summoner spells.

- Whenever a nearby enemy champion is issued a command, the icon associated with the command (move, attack, ability, summoner spell, etc.) is displayed over the unit's head and a line is drawn from that unit to its destination or target (similar to that of turrets). Also, the unit's movement path is drawn in the minimap (yellow line when moving, purple line when about to attack).
- Whenever an affected champion is selected, the status of its abilities and summoner spells (cooldown, castability, etc.) are displayed in the HUD.

Quote:
Backfire (Active)
Kismet jinxes an enemy champion for 3/4/5/6/7 seconds, causing its next ability to fizzle and deal magic damage to itself instead.

- The next ability that will be cast by target enemy champion will have no effect and will go on cooldown. A "Backfire" text display will be written above the target's head when its ability fizzled.

Quote:
Prophetic Bolt (Active)
Kismet fires a psionic bolt towards target location, dealing damage to enemy units it passes through. While in flight, the bolt reveals a small area around it and all enemy units it hits, including invisible units.

Quote:
Bias (Ultimate)
Kismet's psychic powers enables her to manipulate probability.

(Passive): The probabilities of all of Kismet's chance-based effects are increased by 3%/4%/5% (+0.03% per Ability Power) and those of nearby enemies are decreased by 2%/3%/4% (+0.03% Ability Power).

(Active): Kismet manipulates fate by doubling the probabilities of her chance-based effects and halving those of nearby enemies for 5/7/9 seconds.

- Casting this ability will recompute the probabilities of the chance-based effects of affected units.
- Also affects 100% chance abilities and spells such as Exhaust, Teemo's Blinding Dart, and Shaco's Deceive.

Some Quotes:
"I read your mind."
"I don't take chances. I make them."
"Your chance of winning is zero percent."
"Syntax error on Math.Random()"
"Knowing is half the battle." (G.I. Joe)

Information is ammunition. Without slows or stuns, Kismet relies on advanced information to maneuver in battle. By having knowledge of the probabilities of chance-based effects, she can eliminate the randomness factor and more accurately predict the outcome of battles. Will she fight or flee knowing she will hit a Critical on her next attack? Will she turn back and attack her chaser one more time if she knows she will dodge the next arrow? Activating Precognition allows her and her team to respond more intelligently on the moves of the enemy. Who will the enemy focus fire? Who is the target of the stun or slow? When will they use their ultimates? The Backfire ability is basically a counterspell to neutralize one of the enemy's abilities. A key Backfire can ruin an important stun or ultimate and turn the tables around. It can also be used to force the enemy to waste an extra ability just to cast the intended one. Her ultimate, Bias, helps in gaining more consistent/predictable benefits from chance-based effects. It can also turn her temporarily into a tank (dodge) or damage dealer (critical). Kismet's main weakness is her dependability on items. But with a chance-altering ability, she can assume different roles in different games by switching between item builds.

For Kismet, predictability is the key and chances are not taken, but made.

This hero is fukin awesome! love the originality, and might be too much to program, having the ult just deal with crit and evasion is fine

maybe change the fizzle spell to a more intense move:

Jinx target champion for 1 second, the next ability it uses would fail and go on cd, and the champ takes 2 times the mana cost as damage, with "BACKFIRED!" written above its head

So a key fizzle/backfire can ruin an important stun/ult and turn the table around!

Thank you very much for the feedback! Did you mean jinx the champion for 10 seconds? 1 second is a bit too short. Your fizzle suggestion is great!! I'll most probably use that. I'll just wait for some more feedback...
