What is considered a 'high' ELO?
50wins over lost? 100?

Matchmaking (tries) to put you against people of equal skill level (Elo)
Therefore due to the bell curve that results from such a system (where there are a lot of average and fewer high and low) you are generally queued with the same people over and over again (look at the livestreams =/ its almost always the same group of people)

Due to the way Elo works you could be winning consistently versus worse teams and losing to worse teams- resulting in a lesser Elo gain per win and greater Elo gain per loss. Thus win/loss is not the best indicator of Elo.

Also, ladders are out. Just look at those? =/
