Riven swiftly turned and shanked Jayce in the abdomen with a rusty nail.
"I've done it!" Riven cried out to the silent stars. "I have vanquished my opponent once and for all!" She looked around the Rift. "Surrender before me; your new God."
Only silence gave her any reply.
She walked through the jungle. Surely there was someone -- something she could exert her dominion upon. But, alas, the camps lay cold and empty. No bonfires lit the ancient walls of stone this day. As she approached the river, she saw it had run dry, dust being the only remorse for parched lips. The Baron Nashor was gone; in his absence was a void that bit into Riven's heart.
A sudden truth dawned upon her. This was no game -- this was chilling, brutal reality. In her greed and arrogance, she had killed her only friend. Jayce was dead. It was the end.
She screamed in torment, clawing at the dust that gave her no avail. She had nothing left -- nothing but the league.
"Then let the League take me," she said with conviction, a single tear rolling across her face. She jumped willingly into the Baron's gaping maw, instantly committing suicide. She was dead.
Luckily, she was pulled out of the way by her best friend Jayce moments before. Jayce smiled. "It's all right," he said.
They went to a tavern and bought large glasses of drink. Sadly, Jayce obtained alcohol poisoning and died, leaving Riven distraught and suicidal.
Unfortunately, Riven had died two days before in the jaws of the Baron Nashor. Jayce had nothing left for him. Not even the Institute of War could console his deep, stabbing anguish. He cast his trusty weapon off of a cliff, and watched it trail off in to the abyss. He then got a job as a Demacian trash collector and slowly got into drugs and alcohol.
Unfortunately, he had been shanked by his best friend Riven two years earlier. As he lied bleeding on the ground, he called out to his ally.
"Riven," he said. "Get me the first aid kit."
"The one in the plane wreck."
Riven went to the plane and retrieved the first aid kit. She patched up Jayce's wounds. He would live.
Jayce started to cry. "I'm dying," he moaned. "Why didn't you get me the first aid kit?"
"It wasn't in the plane," Riven said. "We left it in the jungle."
"There's no way I can live... tell my family I love them..." Jayce died.
Luckily, Riven had the first ait kit. She took out a couple band-aids. Sadly, they weren't enough to patch up Jayce's wounds. His legs were gone, as was his right arm. "What happened to the rest of the supplies?" he said.
"I used them to cook meth, and I might've eaten the rest."
Jayce bled to death.
The next day, Jayce and Irelia went to the beach where they were shot by a homicidal Ionian named Stab. Here's how the battle played out: Stab summoned his ally, named Shot, as well as another friend (named Murder). Unfortunately for Stab, Jayce had paid off Murder two days ago, so Murder stabbed Stab with Shot's stabbing weapon of murder, but not before Shot shot murder while trying to shoot stab. Murder turned and stabbed stab, intending to stab Shot. Sadly, Murder had been shot by Shot three weeks ago, and he was slowly bleeding to death. He swiftly stabbed Stab and Murder once more, but Stab had murdered Murder's mother before Murder was born. With no one left to stab, Stab stabbed Shot while in the process of shooting Murder. Murder, Shot, and Stab had all died of brain cancer three years ago. Unfortunaltely for Jayce and Irelia, that didn't matter.
Stab shot Irelia while being shot by Shot, and Murder accidentally murdered Jayce while murdering Stab, but not before Shot stabbed Stab and murdered Murder.
Sadly, no one survived the attack. Jayce and Irelia were never released, as they were too "OP".
In fact, while Stab murdered Murder he unknowingly set of a chain of events leading to the destruction of Riot Games fore it had ever been created.
The League was no more.
