This is a US Law that will only affect companies in the USA.

If Riot was smart they would start shifting out of the US like most companies are starting to do now.
It's not easy to move a company like that. Thinking that all the huge companies can move out of country is inconceivable and illogical.

Okay... so what is basically happening is, instead of focusing on more important things... like money or foreign affairs (because of some recent activities such as the war in the irag that is still going on), they would rather prove to the fullest extent of how much they can alter our lives and force us to deal with it... i see. Isnt this the land of the free?

have a good day
Do you even know what SOPA/PIPA is?

It has nothing to do with cyber bullying or foul language you twit.

No, that isn't a personal attack, you are quite literally a twit.

On top of that, perhaps you failed to notice that all the current QQ is over them being too ban-happy (they aren't)

Troll harder troll. If you ARE serious, you need to pull your head out of your arse and take a look around.

I thumbed the OP and the honorable representative, and sent off my letters!

Even we, who are outside of the USA will do what we can to stop SOPA, that law aims for a good cause but is terrible and ill implemente, written and most likely will be applied in worst ways than the way is was originally created

And just because I can do this now, here it goes, before Sir Ian Mckelled decides to sue me if they pass that bill

Hear Gandalf, He means it

You may have heard that Congress is currently considering a bill called the Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA. While SOPA has a ton of problems, there are some significant issues that I thought fellow gamers might want to know about.

Iím particularly concerned that SOPA might stifle the kind of innovation that brings us games we love, such as LoL. The bill makes it far too easy for angry competitors to sue good law abiding companies out of existence. It threatens any company or website that depends on user-generated content, even companies like Riot. Instead of coming up with great ways to keep making games like LoL even better, companies will have to spend their money hiring lawyers. That's why companies like Riot, who want to protect the games they create, are opposed to SOPA.

Iíve been working on alternative legislation that would protect the games companies create while also fostering innovation. But we also need you to call your members of Congress and let them know of your opposition to SOPA. This bill has a very real chance of passing, and it is up to all of who want to protect the Internet to take action. More information is available at http://keepthewebopen.com/. Please make your voices heard in this debate! I will be happy to respond to your posts below, and will check back every few hours today and respond to as many as I can.
Just so you know, I would totally vote for you if I lived in Ohio.
