So, me and a group of friends,4 of us, go into a summoners rift. We decide two of them are going mid, im going to solotop, and the other will go bot with the random. We werent feeding or anything, we got first blood and 5 kills before they even got one on us. We ended up beating them so badly one of them left and then two more gave up completely after failed surrendering vote, by buying all philo stones.

This is obviously the new meta.

More like something unexpected happening and the team not being able to adapt. Don't think that has any real viability because there is no real map control (provided by jungler) or a ganker (also jungler) to make the game less static.

I have to agree with jamaicanmole on this, its more of an unexpected tactic than anything, meta would be something everyone expects and yet is still reliable.

For instance if the other team was good, they would take advantage of top lane and consistantly harras it, if not dominate it, while mid simply plays passive and waits for a inevitable gank.
