He's permabanned. People see this as no problem? Really?

That's a sign, like, a big freaking neon sign the size of a billboard that says "THIS CHAMPION IS SO ABSURDLY OP IT'S PLAINLY APPARENT TO EVERYONE"

He was banned 24/7 when he was OP in SR. He promptly got the nerf bat eventually.
He's currently banned 24/7 in Dominion. He will promptly get the nerf bat eventually.

I really enjoy reading all the posts that try to explain how you can easily defeat Rammus in Dominion by not being stupid. Imagine now that you are playing against a Rammus that is not playing stupid. Now what?

There is a reason that Rammus is banned in every draft game, and it isn't because nobody plays magic damage champions.

Even in high end play, players refuse to alter their builds and think that good positioning will carry them through every game. So they get raped by champs like Rammus and Warwick.

Simply put, anyone whining about Rammus killing them is bad. His damage is pathetic and he is easily counter-built, and counter-picked. If anything he just has the luxury of not being totally useless if you happen to do so.

Don't you think that might indicate a problem, if one champ seems to be so good that he requires counter-building and counter-picking to have a chance against him?

In a map where mobility is quite important, Rammus is one of the fastest champs around.
In a map where AD champs are pretty common, Rammus makes an excellent counter against them.

Plus his damage is actually pretty decent, considering his strong defensive capability.

This puts him at a naturally advantageous position in Dominion, in addition to being a pretty good champ anyways.
